We scrogged a BB cheese and a blu cheese outdoors last year, unfortunatley they were found but were doing great untill then, not sure howwell they would av finnished here.
It works well indeed. Build one myself last year, made it in an angle so the branches would capture as much sunlight as possible. Sadly I don't have any photo's with a plant growing trough it, only with a seedling underneath it, but it works and grows the same way as indoors.
This is something I wish to try myself this year.
Has anyone noticed any increase in mould on treated plants due to the lesser airflow through the canopy?
I haven't noticed an increase in mould, but have heard about the possibility. The plant I had in there turned out to be a male (pretty nice one though).
Might be a good idea to attach the branches further apart than in an indoor grow and/or to prune some branches so the airflow gets less restricted. Another advantage (imho) is that the light can penetrate deeper thus create bigger buds.
Ya I actually used LST an tied it down completely horizontal( my plants where in a planter 3ft high) I used 6x6's that were 8 ft long an tied every branch down an spread them out so my 9ft plant was 6ft tall in a planter 3ft tall an they were almost 8ft wide just about every cola was a top. I will be doing the same thing with a different strain this year except in pots an not in the planter( it caused watering problems)
