DIY automatic light dep greenhouse

trying to figure out how to set one up in the bush. would like to grow indoor strains outdoors that would otherwise never finish. have heard people succesfully have done it with car batteries and some sort of modified garage door opener or something similar to tarp and untarp for 12/12. any suggestions ?? thinkin poly tunnel is best way to do it

what about a retractable awning? Saw a bunch of DIY links here....

Not sure how much power this would require, but a couple deepcycle batteries(hiked in periodically or solar panels?), the retractable awning could be placed between 2 trees, and you could make the canvas light proof, and cover with camo netting
