Ur Favorite Beer?

Seems that mosty posters in this thread are USA/Canada based..?

I live in England and love the thousands of different ales available in the thousands of unique and different pubs around. When I say ale I mean...not carbonated and served at roomish temperature (cellar temp...10degs or so). So many unique beers...the added warmth brings out the flavours...malty and hoppy heaven.

In terms of lagers (bubbly stuff), I really like Duval, Perroni, Heineken, Brewski (NZ Pilsner)

Never quite enjoyed bubbly and cold ales though...seems a shame to cool it down and miss those flavours.

:)

European beer isnt really that great..... went to the great british beer festival few years back and didnt like anything there.

No doubt about it, my favorite brew

"Arrogant Bastard Ale"
An aggressive beer.
You probably won't like it.
It is quite doubtful that you have the sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. Made in San Diego, California.

I only drink American IPA's and Strong american pale ales (pretty similar categories) and choosing one would be hard so I will name three that I LOVE!

In no particular order

A) Odell's IPA
B) Yak and Yeti Himilayan IPA
C) Backcountry Telemark IPA

I wouldnt drink a beer from the gas station unless i was paid enough for it to be worth it.

i get all my IPA's from my gas station -=[

JohnnyHopkins has very poor manners.

If you went to a big beer festival and didn't like anything, the problem clearly isn't the beer.

Yeaahhh..... you would know. European beer has just never tasted enjoyable to me. Even now that i am in colorado, i have toured many breweries and the ones that are european style reminded me of my trip to europe and all the beer i drank over there and i just dont dig it. my beer of choice when i was over there was Samuel Smiths Lager. that was ok. but none of that holds a candle to Odell IPA or Yak and Yeti IPA so on and so forth

always nice, enjoying a corona right now, darnit no limes

I go to Cabo every summer and dread the beer selection there..... all mexican beer taste the same.... pissy! I was pleased to find that there is a microbrew there now called Baja Brewing and they actually have some drinkable beer. Hopefully they start replacing all the
"pacifica" and "sol" taps in the bars with some Baja brewing taps. Last year they were only serving that beer in their own restaurant.

I don't drink beer anymore But I do use a Beer in my as there lovingly called my "Killer Pancakes" made with 7grain cereal, whole wheat flour, corn meal, whole milk or butter milk and of course a bottle of Beer, seems a good old fashion Budweiser works just fine. Oh the smell of Beer Pancakes cooking in the morning is very intoxicating served with real butter and maple syrup.
