I was wondering if anybody has had problems with the light given off by their propane heaters at night. I have not experienced any problems yet but was wondering if other have had hermies etc.

I believe the amount of light needed to trigger photosensitive plants in one candle light's worth. But that has to be about a foot away or closer i think. FWIW

having light pollution is a terrible way to guarantee all females. i suggest researching colloidal silver, it suppresses ethylene production in bud sites, stimulating male characteristics. Spraying selected leaves, branches and in cases where a large amount of seed is desired whole plants with colloidal silver solution has become a preferred method of obtaining feminized seeds.

One method of obtaining colloidal silver utilizes a small direct current power supply and two pieces of solid silver jeweler's wire, or silver coin.
