Just thought I'd find me a lil spot in here to share what I have going, and am up to in the growing dept.
I have a very modest 600w vert closet set up right now, that measures approx 30"x30"(give or take, i don't have the tape measurer out). The closet has massive height though, I haven't yet taken advantage of. I plan to throw a horizontal 400w under the 600w, if not making them BOTH horizontal once these chiesels are up. Like an idiot, I threw away my cooltube reflector though:lightning:
Anyway, here's what I have going right now: BigBuddha Chiesels that have been vegging exactly a month now, that I'll probably flip for the new year, regardless of their height. I wanted them to really encircle my entire light this go-round, but now I'm just anxious to get them finished and the 1000w horizontal train on the road, as I have higher hopes for it.:blowbubbles:(edit: they stretched PERFECTLY to the top point of the light, and stopped! That's vertical for ya baby!):tiphat:

They are in 1gal's right now, btw. My other runs, I've flowered in 2gal. This run will probably stay in the 1gal's a week or so into 12/12, and be upped to 3gal to finish.
Reason being I have room for only 8 2gal's around the light in this small space. But, I was only sent 9 seeds:chin:, one didn't pop, and one was burned by my pre-ferted organic mix. That left me with 7 healthy fem plants, and the extra room to fit 7 3gal's opposed to 2gal.
After this run, and going horizontal, I plan to do a 1gal SOG(top half-600w and bottom 400w). It just seems more feasible, and with less time consumed, in this tiny area.

Jan. 14-2wks :party:Happy New Year

Just got these into the 3gal, from 1gal, about 2 days ago. I try to transplant a lil high in my end pots to allow for maximum explansion of my root zone during budding. I'll be cleaning that under brush shit and trimming some fan leaves, to allow light to other budsites soon.
Also, waiting on some Maxibloom, to make the leap(or lack of) from organics. It's just too simple, and proven, to not take a shot at.:tiphat:

Here's some updated pics before lights on today, the 20th day of flowering. As you see, they are still suffering from temp fluctuation, which isn't so bad really. But, what is worrying me, is why the hell my front right and back left plants are eagle-clawing on me. This could be due to a million things. I think it has to do with the temp fluctuations, wet feet during the cold nights, or simply being too light sensitive, and being a mere few inches from the cooltube. It could even be Phosphorous being locked out due to the temp fluctuations. I don't exceed 85* during the day, but my night temp drops as low as 60. Kinda hard to control, other than running my central heat more often during my night hours, as it's connected to the closet.(helps during the summer, when A/C is pumped in)
As you can tell, they're obviously still stretching like mad.

Well, at day 26 of flower the stretch has slowed, and they stretched to the PERFECT height for the space.
The frost is piling on at this point, and the roots have just hit the bottom of the pots.
The temp fluctuations have become more stable, and I narrowed the leaf claw down to N toxicity.
The plant in the back, not pictured, was showing a lil bleachin' on some of the fans so i tied it back after these pics were taken. The light sits closer to the back of the closet by an inch or two, so it makes sense.
Now for the bad news: The tallest, and front plant when you open the door, showed no other than what looks to be tiny balllllls!:cuss::cry: I cut this branch off, as these were the most pronounced, and plucked the few other small ones I saw.
I'll be inspecting closely from now till the end for more to develop.:angrymod:

Well I'd say we're close to the half way point, if not there. I'm not getting many responses, or extra info, on how long people have let this strain go. So I guess I'll play it by the looks of things on when to start the flush and such. Anyway, I'm superrr anxious to smoke some these buds.
I have about a half/half mix of indica and sativa leaning phenos. The indica dominate plants have stopped stretching, are filling in fat as hell, and trichs are surely growing more abundant by the day...or night? Ha.. And most importantly they reek of that diesel lemon pine-sol aroma!
The sativas, on the other hand, are still growing vertically albeit very little(but enough!), spaced internodes that aren't making huge colas comparatively, slower trichome production, and seem to give a more cheesy aroma(my first cheese strain grown, so not certain what this is exactly, but def not the same lemon as indicas).
All in all, I couldn't be happier with the way things are looking, and I will definitely be keeping a pheno of the best smoke. I'll reveg the best 2 or 3 based on bag appeal, structure, weight, and smell. From there, I'll choose one based on taste and high after a lil cure.
Some pics from earlier today. I'll try to snap a few after the light goes off tonite too, because I can't stand that yellow ass light.

Guess I'll throw a few pics up from the last go-round in here, as I'm sure no one wants to think they're waiting in vain for something. As well as, maybe that's why not too many people are interested in these AMAZING genetics by BigBuddha. But I assure you, you don't wanna sleep on these guys/ladies!;) These are some quality, stable, genetics!
This is a single PurePowerPlant freebie, and some Chimera's GrapefruitxBlueberry grown in the same setup the Chiesels are now in. And as you can tell by the size of the buds the vertical lighting leaves little to be desired, even with as much neglect as these babies endured!

PurePowerPlant

Grapefruit x Blueberry

Shot of my soil mix, that I'll never be doing again, for as long as the Maxibloom method holds up.

Alrite, been away from the thread for a minute. Had a lot going on with the room, though. Now I have a veg area under the flowering, just how I wanted.:dance013:
I have a 2 bulb 2ft T5 under there, and it seems to be doing the job. Gotta keep it really close though. Node spacing is wayyy further apart than with the vert 600mh.
I revegged the best Chiesel, and it turned out to be a clone MONSTER. Shoulda took pics of that thing:spank:
So I have two clones from that chiesel flowering, and many clones vegging. Also have two GrapefruitXBlueberry seeds that I had left, and happened to be female, from Chimera, flowering. One being very grapefruity already. And last strain flowering is a BlueSatellite2.2 from seed as well. Have clones of all three of these plants down there too, just in case any turn out to be something to keep.
Give me just a sec for pics, my internet is trippin out.

Thanks killerweed. Appreciate your following my man.
The flowering chiesels from the revegged one are looking and smelling amazing already.
One of the grapefruits smell like straight grapefruit as well. I'm hoping the BS2.2 purples sooner or later, and this "strawberry kush" bagseed I have rooting turns out a female. I had one before from this same weed, that turned out to be a hearty, smelly male I regret throwing out. It resembled the weed I got it from in every way, but was a male :/

The chiesel clones are all about a foot and a half and thriving. The two smaller ones are about done, and stacked in 1gal on top the other three in 2gal which are also almost finished. This is all to the back and right on the top of the closet. The two small chiesels are already showing some amber and I'm just trying to get a better flush on em, the two GFxBB are mostly cloudy and being flushed, the BlueSatellite2.2 is also mostly cloudy and being flushed. This chiesel is sooooo funky I'm glad this is the one I revegged and should have a ton of soon enough. The buds are also rock hard from the dirt to the tips at the top! This MB is amazing stuff! I've revegged, cloned, vegged, and flowered using JUST this, and PH. Anyway here's some pics I caught once the light went off.
