When do you guys/ladies get your beans?

once a month or once a year? do you like to have a selection of strains or just go with one strain?
do you order cheap beans/and try to get lucky or order expensive beans/and hope you get what you pay for?
do you get fem or reg?

When I can afford them. They really are a luxury. These days, I am cloning about 4 keeper phenos that I run in my garden exclusively. It takes a while to get those select keeper phenos, and then run them perpetually.

Last time I popped beans was about 6 months ago. I have purchased $200 beans, and have purchased $50 beans. They both work equally as well. It just so turns out that my super "in-demand" buds are from beans that cost $200 per pack(REZ,lols)...but so worth it.

$200 is a pittance compared to the return you will make from fat, frosty, delicious nugs.

I would do it again if there was something I had to have from any breeder.

I have never ever popped fem seeds, but am not averse to it.

I don't like fem seeds.

I hadn't bought seeds for almost a year ( I have a lot of backstock ), but I just dropped $2 bills on the Mass SUper Skunk x Sour D. That's a great example. When I feel they are worth it.

I did buy several server fund beans when I was snatching stuff up and I found a few winners. White OTIS was a great one & only $24!

I always chack seedbay, but with the moms, and friends cuts I get now, it takes a lot for me to actually buy seeds anymore. ...... I just make 'em if I want more.

I typically know exactly what I want or a particular trait I am looking for. I just buy when they are available and I have room in my stable in the near future.

I have way too many seeds, and still buying more. 3 or 4 packs at a time, usually once a month, unless theres alot of new stuff being released. I have a payment going out today as a matter of fact.
Many different breeders. All price ranges from $25 for 20 seeds, $200 for 10 seeds, and countless freebies. Even a couple testers.

I don't even want to think about how much I've spent on seeds in the last 5 years.

Well, I just send out to the Boo on my first seed purchase today.

I have hundreds of beans i've collected, but nothing with a name. Growing, friends with cuts, etc is not common here. So if I am to ever have herb of quality above brick weed, buying seeds is my only shot.

So i went with the Female beans. I grow for stash, so i don't want to waste time and energy on a potential male.

In the future, I plan to buy beans 1 time a year. A few female packs along with the freebies will easily last me. Unless something special come's up i MUST have.

I buy beans constantly thorughout the year. I think I placed 5-6 orders just in the last 6 weeks or so at a cost of about $1000.00+. Some as low as $40 a pack and some $200 a pack. Well worth it to me as I like having a library of genetics to choose from. I love popping beans and looking for mommas. Regarding the femmed beans I only buy regular. I don't like the idea of feminised seeds personally.

i think im gunna be a one time a year type guy... i got $200 in seeds last year, and the seeds i found in bag of killer bud were way better than the ones i ordered
most of my friends say its the best pot they have ever smoked...not me

I only buy news seeds when something comes out that I feel like I absolutely need to have or there is a deal too good to refuse, like the last time I bought seeds I got a 2 for 1 deal on some headband and cataract kush, I couldnt pass that up LOL that was a total impulse buy. I try not to buy shit until I've seen it grown because I dont like to waste my time with duds.

I've been buying up building block strains for the past few years now so I can pretty much mix and match strains I have now and make some kick ass hybrids.

I've got Blueberry, SSH, OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Apollo 11, cocoa kush, different combos of sour and OG's, a few different hazes, couple of land race sativa's and a bunch of other shit.

The one strain that keeps eluding me at seed buying time is C99, I need to get a good C99 for my collection. A good Thai and a good hindu kush or afghani old skool indica and Sweet Tooth would really top off my collection nicely.

The seed world is kind of boring right now, not much new shit popping up because everyone is working the same lines, there's a million strains out right now which are pretty much the same thing but with a diff name.

Every crop I order 300-400 in seeds, I look at it like an expense and neccessity just like monthly grow supplies. Lately I have been buying multiple packs of everything I intend to use in future breeding projects. Hopefully soon I will begin that journey

Heh, I haven't bought beans since '05 or '06. Between F2's, crosses, gifts and trades I've got enough beans to keep me busy for a long time.

I went though the acquisition stage, now I'm into seeing what I can do with what I've already got. It's more personally rewarding to me.

But I'm strictly in it for head stash. So having the latest flavor of the week isn't a factor. And there is enough variation in what I already have that I don't feel the need for more.

so i guess i get seeds when A) I remember that thing I want and B) the miracle of that thing being available happen to coincide.

i make my owh and traide the rest only buy 2 times seeds once (the first time) some jackherrer cross and getting some eirdbei seeds for freebee)
and once from ACE seeds (love it!)

I just pollinated 2 cuts from my Strawberry Diesel mom with Sour Bubble pollen from 2 different dads.
Lots of crosses cookin up in my head too.....

Im definitely waaaay more addicted to making them than buying them. Nothing cooler than saying "hey nobody crossed these two yet, lemme do it" then actually coming up with something worthwhile.

Very rewarding.
