Purple Kush

I'm looking for some info on the lineage of Purple Kush and if anyone knows any breeder that has it in seed form or if this is a clone only strain. I had a chance to sample some recently and found it very distinctive smelling and tasting. I don't remember the high being anything special, but the taste and odor was of a coffee/floral incense which was very dense smelling and tasting.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Sometimes I wonder wether Purple Yarkhun has something to do with it. I know that some beans were shipped to Reeferman and the guy worked them. Many seeds have been shared with people in US & Canada, but never ever a single feedback was received, then started the purple kush craze...

For information, Purple Yarkhun is a strain coming from Yarkhun valley, Chitral District, Pakistan Hindu Kush, grown for hash. One of the tastiest strains I've ever smoked, with a relaxed, indica body high, and enjoyable heady sativa effect as well, somewhat MDMA-ish, typical of strains from the area

I sure can be wrong, but still, sometimes I wonder...

eheh... right, now that I saw your pics I remember. But you're in Europe, right ? I was talking about N. American feedbacks.

I'd love to grow some more too, but unfortunately for some reason there's no way to get any seed to sprout, looks like they're all dead...
Still have a few of the original beans I brought from there, tried to germ 3 of them last session, dead...
I suppose I'll have to go back there !

Oh, and one of the Californian Purple Kush is said to be Hindu Kush x Purple Afghan

I still have a bunch of seeds, also mixed with Laspur Gold x Yarkhun, which haven't left the cold-temp cupboard they have been stored in since 2002. I haven't tested these, so I'm crossing fingers...

She's a beauty outdoor indeed !

Here a few pics for those who don't know about this strain

You should post this query in the Canadian forum.... Many people have paid for their homes with Vancouver Purple Kush, which is not the same as the SR71 Purple Kush....

Getting ready to flip the las vegas purple kush, can't wait. I've sampled it and it's reminiscent of the bubba...
