the full AN line right. lol

btw you have no idea how close to the truth this is.. not advanced nutrients, but the tiger bloom series i believe. it was another grower who recommended it to him or something, a local guy that supposedly has been doing this a "long time" and had big grows, but given the quality of the shit i've seen come out of this entire town i am not about to drink the koolaide. the guys around here just go for quantity. no flushing, no organics, no flavor, no grower's pride or integrity... nothing but pushing shit to large quantities. just doesn't produce the kind of results i'm after. nothing worse than a shitty bag of chronic. might even be worse than none at all..

anyway, good call that was impressive :tiphat:

Nice! Interestingly enough (for me at least) I was just looking at the DC x Bubba about an hour ago on the boo, trying to see how much $ I had left of a prepaid card so I tried to order it. No go. Ah well, I'll pull up a seat. Don't have any experience with Cannacopia but I was lookin at their Deep Chunkolate a while back. It looked killer!

hiya george  thanks for stopping in man. the cannacopia Deep chunk lines are really pretty bomb.. not much for weight (in my experience.. though i think i've always done smaller veg'd plants), but leaves curled up on the edges from resin.. quality is usually pretty spot on. as for colors, you just can't beat a deep chunk. many folks on this forum are rocking even just the deep chunk itself.. the only pic i have from my previous grows is this one, and it was a G-13 x DC pheno from a few years ago that went completely purple (was lost when i quit growing the first time).

guys on my thread have only seen this picture about fifty times lol

(you handfeed right i cant rem.)

btw yup, i handfeed. probably just put more blood meal/guano in the g-13 than should have. i suppose sativa's are naturally going to have a different nute need than indicas, yet here i've been feeding them both equally. def gonna kick back the g-13 nute level and remember this for next round (got a ton of em in veg gettin ready to go)

yeah, that is the best part -- $35 or something for 10 beans. that was what made me order them. here i thought i would be getting sub-par genes and was actually very nice. the bubba, from earlier runs/phenos, is pretty potent. a very nice can't-get-to-sleep-oh-shit-now-i'm-out smoke. lol

anyone out there have thoughts on facebook? i am already super paranoid about being on the site.. have everything set to private, and never leave myself logged in... but i still wonder if they can track the fact that i am posting on this site and somehow allow the po-po to trace to here if something happened and they got ahold of my computer.

what do you guys think? facebook harmless, or the worst idea imaginable to a stealth grower who also posts stuff online in that regard..

I'd have to give the big nay-no to facebook, but that's just me I'm paranoid about everything on the computer. I have all my history and cookies disabled for every site. I'll do the extra work and sign in every time. If someone took my computer they might see that I've been on sites like this but that's all they'll know.

Hey how's the yield on those crosses usually?

facebook is gay in my opinion, no offense to homosexuals.... after i ditched my last IC account i started using turbohide as a proxy server before accessing icmag just b/c it made me feel safer. i check my bank account alot and whatall online, im not really worried ab getting nailed via the nets, i figure if that happens i was doomed anyway, or they already had enough info - but it helps me sleep better at night, and its a free website. check it out. its quick too. so anyway, glad your not as stressed ab your girls, they might right themselves anyway organics are amazing. ive only been doing the organic thing for not even a year yet but i love it. you say you do handfeed but with bloodmeal and such? in teas? havent read much on bloodmeal in a tea, im interested. also i pose this - if you have it on hand, why dont you get some kelp and bone meal and try some girls in amended soil water only? i say this cause im sold on it myself. i use amended peat base (blood, bone, kelp, lime, greensand, rock, ewc, ect ect.) and i am just loving it. ill throw in some teas week 5-8 depending on the strain but i love just watering. now that ive switched over to blumats its so simple. i only run 1800w but handwatering 40 3gal rootpots was getting old. they go through some water with a d/h in the tent. but now its smoother sailing, as far as that goes anyway. i mentioned earlier my girls look rough now and thats b/c i neglected to "cook" the soil for a few weeks before planting as budget/timetables/RENT did now allow for all that. in the past it hasnt been a prob. but i suffered some ph issues early on coupled with already present deficiencies from not being potted up quick enough and they still recovered in about 2 weeks. organic soil is stable and reliable in my short experience. (cook first!) also, congrats on ditching your job, i did the same end of last year, and its been rough (renting is a bitch, +K for being a homeowner, lol) but im starting to pull ahead i hope, this spring should find me with some cushion at least you have that. wow what a long post. time to snack a bowl!

oh that reminds me georgewbush is a hilarious handle - back in high school a friend had a thick blue glass spoon (bowl) he christened george w bush or g dub for short. it always got a laugh. its all about STRATEGERY kids. lmao

facebook won't even let you log on if you have cookies disabled. even third-party cookies. it is pretty messed up, imo. so much for bringing folks together. now just about the money, like everything else seems to be.. thanks for the comments, gw. and yield on the crosses.. maybe an ounce per plant veg'd to 3 weeks. (?) depends on light amount and nutes, etc. of course. not like they are horrible producers, just not big ones. (wow how is that for specific lol. sorry, i think they give an actual gram/square foot on *********.com. check it out.)

hahaha strategery. oh, how i remember that one. :D thanks for the long post man much obliged for your effort in answering my q's. i'll have to check on the turbohide thing, that sounds like a good deal. i usually only do private browsing (windows 7 or maybe a firefox add-on.. it's there under my tools menu), but like you said if it came to that point we are probably busted anyway. what bugs me most is that all the people running the show on facebook make all this fucking money for selling our information, and we don't get a cut of it in the least. doesn't seem right. without all us posting and trafficking on facebook there wouldn't be any data to sell. the guys make a profit off something that is a byproduct of social sites. (ok blood pressure going up.. lol)

yup, you are right about organics, they can definitely right themselves with nothing more than a good flush. i am hesitant to say it, but pretty sure i'll be ok. i use a wormcastings tea sometimes, but for the guano i just top-feed a small amount every other week or so. just last week i decided to try the blood meal -- mixed it in the soil when i transplanted to the bigger bags. think i just used too much in mixing it in.. i wasn't very scientific with my method on that one. still not entirely sure why i decided to get it. thought it can't hurt, but looks like was wrong. :D

i ran a pre-mixed soil batch one time, a mix that "blazeoneup" on this forum put together. it was actually awesome. you mentioning it might make me look back into it. the whole plain water thing is great. no bs to mess with or droppers or mixing or anything. some extra work in the beginning but not that much more.. as for complete organics, i've never done the actual "cooking" thing or literally made my own mix. had a little trouble following everything you were talking about. lol i suppose i can't call myself 100% organic. but someday once have the time and room to test stuff out will def do so. in fact, i think i'm going to take your suggestion and do one of these g13s with plain water here on out to see what she looks like compared to the other two g13s. why not. :artist:

whew. gonna be fine. just got back from a weekend trip to find a little more of the spots, but seems to be at a slower rate. something also occurred to me: they haven't been properly dried out since the replant. over a week.. probably got a bit of early root rot setting in, or was about to. put a little space heater in there to help everyone dry out nice before the next water. (i'll be monitoring temps and such remainder of day and tomorrow.)

getting a little excited now. :D started to think things were fucked, but looks like at least for now all is cool.. here's a few hps-glow pics. probably pull em out for a few regular lighting shots too. the bubba's are looking killer..

cherry haze and viper trainwreck are just over two weeks, and the deep chunk crosses all at day 33 @ 12/12.

enjoy pics!!

oh yeah, the veg room looked bomb when i got back too. i pulled out my mama's... the B1 pheno was much shorter and less vigorous the the B2, so i took a B2 mama, and the G2 was the only G-13 cross that didn't show the effects of the transplant/overfeeding whatever happened, and is also the best looking one regardless, so i took one of the G2 as a mama. of course, if one of the other ones turns out to be some crazy coffee or purple pheno, i will keep it too. :D gonna have one of each in veg so not getting rid of any pheno until i've smoked them all.
