I took one more sample from the sativa pheno. It's a good looking pot,no much leaf and resin coated. The bud is heavy and it's like a rock for how it's hard.

Here some shots taken just after trimming

I just chopped one more branch but this time from the indica pheno.
I did this also to try to ''feel'' differences in the smoke with a more flushed bud.

Here the pictures

I can't wait to see the bigger buds~

:yeahthats
But...the sativa's trichomes are more ripen than the indica's? Ora the photos influence me?

Me too buddies :) It's one week they're flushing with only water,my plan is to harvest everything next sunday,so one more week to wait ;)

Some buds of the sativa pheno are losing a lot of leaves, and some buds need to be cut in these days or the little laves in the buds will become yellow and dried, and I don't like this ;)

Wolv, you're right. It seems the sativa pheno has overall more ambred thrics than indica.None of them has completely ripe, sativa has some white pistils on the flowers, sign that it would need more time to ripe but at the same time it has more ambred thrics than indica, that has not so much white pistils.
One more week it's all the time I can give to them,I need to leave this house in two weeks,so one is for plant ripening and one for the drying phase ;)

how does she smoke thus far brotha? smell? how amber are the trichs? you can easily tell the plants receive a lot of love

I can't say anything about the smoke.Smell is interesting. Both plants has a strong cheese ''footprint'' with some fruity smell.Indica is more fruity with a hint of grapefruit.
The grapefruit smell was more during the first phase of flowering...at now it's not so smellable, just a hint ;)
However it seems to be a nice pot...will see after a properly cure ;)

Thanks for following mates,I'm happy to conclude this cycle.Me and my girl spent a lot of times and energies for these girls and we have nothing to smoke at moment ;)

noreason,

That is one gnarly looking SCROG you have going on! Man, you sure can get impressive growth out of those DWC systems!

You are like the puppet master with all dem budz on strings!

Nice grow noreason, I've enjoyed it. Hope your harvest is well.

noreason,

Thank you both for the kind words. They're appreciate and help me to understand if I'm doing it right or wrong.

For sure I could have better results than this run. These 2 plants suffered a Ca def in the past plus the move in a different spot and not the least the 400's have so poor penetration in the canopy,so the lower flowers can't fatten up as I would. And by the way...these bluecheese don't seem to be high yeld plants...I hope they will be killer in the smoke :D
Next time I'll try to do it better ;) follow me.

GG:all those lines were a necessity, because after the move (read older post if you don't know what I mean) almost all the buds tended to go downward. However using lines to bend the branch\buds is a little trick to improve light penetration...but you know it ;)

I took two clones from the INDICA pheno when I saw it had big flowers and the grapefruit smell...it was around 20\30 days after the switch to 12\12.
I keep them under a very poor light (7w?) so they are tiny and I don't know what to do with this two little plant. If the smoke of the indica pheno is something I really like, probably I'll run them in DWC again or maybe I'll move them outdoor...will see,I don't know what my next future will propose to me :)

Here are the two tiny clones.
Keep up the fight buddies

flowering clones is the best !

mmm...I know in a set up like mine will be better work with clones but...why did you think clones is better?what's your experience about if you don't mind?

I hope a day I'll an find a safe spot to keep my moms and do my experiments.

However...tonight I chopped three part of three different branches from the SATIVA pheno.I did for the same reason of the last, their leaves, the little ones in the buds was becoming yellow, and I don't like it,so I preferred to chop'em also if they would be happy to stay some more days under the lamp.

We noticed a ''strange'' thing...maybe it's better to say a thing we didn't notice before with any other plant.
The part of the branch\flower exposed to direct light tends to color of red\purple.You can see in the pictures what I mean, look at the stem too,the part exposed to light is purple and the part NOT exposed to direct light is green.
Me and my girl assume it could be for two reason:
1:more thermic excursion. The part exposed is more hot than the part not exposed,so when the lights go off, there will be more differences from the min\max temps.
2:It's a sort of defense mechanism to protect against too much light.
The buds\branches showing this issue are the ones directly under the lamps, the ones that are receiving more light.

Do you know about this?

and here are the pictures...as ever..a lot of pictures.

I believe the purpling of the tops is caused by the temp. drop. Anyhow, I got the same thing with my last grow.

Those buds look real nice, I love their color!

As for flowering clones (clones took in the flowering phase), they are the same as revegitated plants - they shoot a shit load of branches in the first few weeks which produce multiple tops faster than topping and topping and topping a regular clone.

Cheers!

Also my plants show the same your color both on the leaves and on the branches... for me the cause were low and low temperature!
Btw great sugared nuts!
