First Things First...

I am a Legal Medical Marijuana Patient with my RED card.This is in compliance with Statute 0-4-287; Section 14, (Colorado Amendment 20).

OK here it goes....

Shortly after getting my Medical Marijuana License I got an Itch to learn as MUCH as i could about Germinating, Growing, Cloning, and flowering MMJ. I decided I wouldn't start growing or buy equipment until I had a good understanding about the basics.

6 months later I bought all the equipment to start a small grow but had to move and was unable to grow at my residence. A fellow friend also had his Medical Marijuana License and said he would set-up the grow at his place, and he had a few sick friends that he could care-give for. I will be posting weekly pictures of the different strains I have in my VEG(24/0 LED) and Flower (400w HPS) rooms. Please feel free to give advice, Constructive criticism, and comments are welcome.

I purchased :

6inch 465 CFM inline fan

400 Watt switchable MH/HPS Cool Tube Setup

6inch Venting for the Cool tube

4 inch speed booster fan to push air into the tent

Green House- Super Lemon Haze
* Seed Bank: Green House
* Type: Feminized
Marijuana Seeds Information
* 1st prize HTCC 2008-2009 *

The Super Lemon Haze has won the 2008 High Times Cannabis Cup with a landslide of votes. Between the many reasons: its incredibly intense lemony flavour, with a strong haze background. It's a sharp and intense taste, which reminds of lemon, lime and pink grapefruit, followed by a very earthy and musky haze aftertaste, with traces of incense and black pepper.

The effect is very balanced; it starts with a quick indica-hit feeling that softly moves to a very strong high, with a social and creative side.

The Super Lemon Haze is a very smooth compromise between the great qualities of its parents. It has 9-10 weeks flowering time, and a very typical Christmas tree shape. Plants tend to grow quite tall, but the internodes are not too far apart, and allow easy topping. The leaves are very sativa-like, while bud formation comes dense and has a high calyx-to-leaf ratio.

The Super Lemon Haze is a very effective marijuana seed both indoors and outdoors, and responds very well to high-EC hydro systems as well as organic soil setups. When cultivated in soil, the spectrum of terpens is more developed and gives an extra lemony flavour.

The THC is high at over 22%, ensuring a very psychedelic experience to even the most experienced smokers.
Genetics: Lemon Skunk x Super Silver Haze Effects: A very lemony haze, works fast and lasts long. It's a
very powerful high, very balanced between a physical and a cerebral side.

Flowering indoor: 9-10 weeks with a production up to 700gr/m2

Flowering outdoor: finishes end October in northern hemisphere, production up to 1000 gr/plant.
THC: 22.9%

Magus Genetics - Motavation
* Seed Bank: Magus Genetics
* Type: Regular/Feminized
Marijuana Seeds Information

It took us a while longer than expected, but finally it’s here. The long awaited successor of the "Starwarz" & "Medizin Power", "Motavation". A short/squat Indica-dominant hybrid with moderate stretch at flowering, a little leafy but covered with resin so its almost a waste to manicure the buds. Very suitable for indoor/closet growing although some training/bending during the first 2 weeks of flowering is recommended to create an even canopy.

It will develop a powerful aroma that is somewhat sweet with a touch of turpentine or fresh paint. The high is an overwhelming body stone that will nail you to the couch while your thoughts drift away. You will have the greatest ideas and make many plans, but yet, will not have the urge to execute them right away. If you have any trouble making it thru the long winter evenings, the Motavation will make them pass by as if they never happened.

Flowering period: 50/60 days
Yield: medium/good

Paradise - Wappa
* Seed Bank: Paradise
* Type: Feminized
Marijuana Seeds Information
Wappa is a stout-statured and stable Indica variety. Wappa’s short indoor size makes her a good choice for gardeners with limited room. Her unique stone offers Indica body relaxation without the couchlock.

She is a robust plant that quickly becomes the darling of the grow room, with her attractive appearance, ease in cultivation and fast yield. When forced to flower at 1 foot (30 cm), she just about doubles in size by maturity, producing big chunky colas that fill the air with sweetness, aromas composed of fruits and sugars. Wappa has a high calyx-to-leaf ratio, which makes her a breeze to manicure.

Wappa’s fruity nugs are great head candy, creating an intense high. The buzz comes on strong, with a pleasant onset. It is a luminous high that nudges open the doors of perception.

Flowering: 55-60 days indoors. Outdoors, early October (n.L.)
Yield: 400-500 grams per m2 indoors. Outdoors 400-500 grams per plant
Environment: Indoors. Outdoors between 50? n.L. and 50? s.L.
Effect/Buzz: Happy, energetic
Smell/Taste: Deep fruit
THC: 15-18%

Serious - Chronic
* Seed Bank: Serious
* Type: Regular/Feminized
Marijuana Seeds Information

Our most commercial variety, this medium height, not too dense plant is the perfect combination of good yield and excellent quality. Smokers that know and grow choose this plant for its combination of appearance and sweet smell. With its indica background Chronic can produce up to 600 g/m2 without losing that connoisseur feeling. Grows a single huge central bud with few side branches. Do not top plants to encourage multiple big buds, as this strain does not respond well. Mild, sweet smell develops while flowering, take care to dry thoroughly after harvest (before packaging) to maintain this subtle fragrance. 3rd prize High Times Cannabis Cup 1994, improved in 2000.
Of all our strains, this is the best choice for growers tired of losing quality when increasing yield.

Type: sativa/indica hybrid
Indoor clone grow time: 5 – 10 days
Indoor flowering time: 56-63 days
Indoor yield: 350 – 600 grams/m2
Outside/Greenhouse harvest time:
15-31 October

Paradise - Sensi Star
* Seed Bank: Paradise
* Type: Regular/Feminized
Marijuana Seeds Information
Sensi Star is one of the strongest Indica's you will ever encounter. It's a great plant, producing powerful and very compact buds, crowned with legendary amounts of resin. Although mostly Indica, she retains a complex high that warps both body and soul. Introduced in 1995, this strain's stability was improved in 1997 to deliver a strong plant with big fan leaves and nice thick buds. Sensi Star works well in a sea of green set-up with 20 plants per square meter potted close together. It is best to let them grow for approximately 2 weeks before entering the 12/12 light cycle. If the strong side branching is allowed to remain and flower, she needs a little extra space. Hydroponic and soil methods are equally suitable. Prospects for gardening this plant outdoors are good in temperate zones, where she will reach approximately 2 meters (6 feet) and produce an average of 400 grams in a successful season.

This headstrong Indica produces rock hard colas that have a lemony / metal scent and taste. This strong characteristic aroma speaks for itself. Some smokers find the buzz to be a very strong body stone, while others report a high with more energetic cerebral properties as well as a body sensation. THC levels have been reported at 20 percent for this variety, making it a one-hitter quitter. She is one of the world's finest cannabis strains. * Winner 1st prize Highlife Cannabis Cup 1999 (Bio category) * Winner 1st prize High Times Cannabis Cup 1999 (Indica category) * Winner 2nd prize High Times Cannabis Cup 2000 (Indica category) * Plant of the Year 2003, High Times magazine * Winner 1st prize Highlife Cannabis Cup 2004 (Bio category)

Type: Mostly Indica with a hint of Sativa
Flowering: 56 - 63 days indoors. Outdoors is beginning of October (n.L.)
Yield: 350-450 g per m2 indoors. Outdoors 400-500 grams per plant.
Environment: Indoors. Outdoors between 50 n.L and 50 s.L
Effect/Buzz: Strong body high with a possible cerebral effect
Smell/Taste: Pungent
THC: 16 - 20%

Magus Genetics - Warlock
* Seed Bank: Magus Genetics
* Type: Regular/Feminized
Marijuana Seeds Information
The Warlock is Indica dominant but it also has some characteristics that are considered sativa by most people (elongation at flowering, active high, high calyx/leaf ratio). It is a branchy plant that will form only a few medium sized leaves and a massive amount of flowers so it is easy to manicure. The pistils are clear white when fresh, changing to tan/pink when mature. The smell is strong and sweet, some even a bit sour (like fresh fruit). The high is mainly cerebral.

Genetics - Skunk No.1 x Afghani
Variety - Mostly Indica
THC content - 20+%
Grows - Greenhouse, Grows indoors
Flowering time - 8-9 weeks
Harvest Month - October/November

stay tuned...:thank you:

This time we harvested just the top half's of the 3 plants, and put them back into the flower tent to fatten up. Sorry for the poor quality of these pictures, I have high quality pictures taken on my friends camera which I will upload here soon.

Cheese 8 weeks

LED VEG TENT

VEG 2-chocolope,1 killer queen.3 purple kush
Cheese mother, 2 killer queen, choc, purple kush

So now in the tent we have the the three plants that we just harvested the tops from and then 2 purple kush 2 weeks in, and a cheese 8 weeks in. I will post the rest of the pictures when I get the camera from my friend.I will also be posting pictures of the dry buds after a 7 day dry.

Any comments questions or advice would be great.

You asked for an opinion now brace yourself. Dude I understand it was your first grow. with that being said I will take it down a notch but this is almost a joke. Those buds look like some crap I could get in a mexi brick, granted they may taste better and even get me a lil higher. But in no way are those buds grown to full potential nor are the "medical grade" now if you take the shag of leafs off the buds then maybe.

I just want to say that you have a lot to learn and a long way to go before you will become a legitimate care giver. With that yield the fact that you even said that is almost comical. That isnt enough pot to last one person three months more less numerous people. If you dont bump up your yields the people you are "care giving" for are going to get someone else to grow theirs.

This is the biggest tip that I can offer you, get rid of the led for veg, thats why you are yielding 70g's on a 400, you should be slamming down 300+grams at least if you have any type of basic understanding of what a plant needs.

Dude you got some kick ass strains there, that ufo is trash and its doing them zero justice. I highly suggest that you buy another 400hps or bigger and only use those. If you are growing for weight which care givers are then you should be jacking around with that junk anyway. I dont even get why people try this shit, if anything ever surpasses the hps or mh lights we will be informed immediately, we are on the biggest pot forum in the world. Maybe they save electrisity but fuck, 70g's... thats a waste of time

The LED actually works great for vegging the plants. especially because I CAN'T have a lot of heat in the small closet its in and it doesn't use much electricity. A red card is my medical marijuana license.

AmeriSkunk:
I'm not sure if your read the post at the start. Well first off, this grow is done at my friends that is new so im working with him to do this. Second the 70 grams was off only the tops off three plants. Its a perpetual harvest, so its really not a waste of time. As i harvest every month.The LED has been a life saver and I will recommend it to others. My buds tasted better then most i have bought around here. im not sure having a 400watt to veg would make the world of a difference. but thanks for trying to make me look like a joke, i posted this up to learn, and share the love for growing. I'm not hear to one up anyone. peace

Haha "welcome to ICmag" dude I've been here years back, posted op's on a different user name ect... if you think you can just be like pff he's new.. then whatever. Do you think what your posting is impressive? Its not, actually it looks far worse than pretty much anything being called "medical" that I've ever seen.

But I will leave you to your rediculous thread that I gave you a pity post on and a tidbit of advice which you should pass along to your friend but your being an ass so have fun rationing out the pot. I've got plenty :)

I should have been more specific, constructive criticism only! Maybe spend your effort giving helpful advice rather then putting down everything im doing. Since you have been doing this SO long.

And dude I'm not trying to kne up you or anything like that. You asked what people thought and I told you. You just don't like what I had to say. You are the one making your thread look like a joke. I don't even needbto say anything else after you said that crap about using the ufo is making your buds taste good.... you haven't a fucking clue as to why I told you to use a hps or mh for veg instead do you? It has nothing to do with the bud taste i assure you and how would using that ufo make them taste better?

I was trying to help you grow bigger buds, grow more buds, ect. For yourself and the people around you but you can't take constructive criticism and start acting like an ass.

I think buds were picked a little early for sure, that would of helped yield. They were not trimmed in photo, I am sure they will look better after being clipped. It doesn't seem to me that size of vegged plants is an issue. 200grams total for 400w would be a good newbie par.

The LED has nothing to do with making my buds taste better.:laughing:

It just works great for vegging my plants for the space that I have. You must have misunderstood me.
