go for it those are good worms. In my experience though they tend to be all adults, so get a lot of them.

yeah a tried all the bait shops around here, they sell nightcrawlers instead of the wigglers. just depends where your at i guess. bb88, the coccoons from CC's place is a screaming deal.
Sucks because we get the good stuff out here,and if it didn't weigh so much it would be worth it to get a sack of my favorite bagged brand shipped. It's pure castings and no filler,works like magic.

Blue Ridge Vermiculture sells Red Wiggler cocoons - 1,000 cocoons @ $25.00, 2,000 @ $40.00 and 3,000 @ $55.00 all delivered prices, i.e. no S&H charges are added.
When hatched, each cocoon will give you, on average, 3.2 worms. Adult worms are 'about' 1,000 per 1 lb. so if you bought 3,000 cocoons you could expect to end up with 9,600 adult worms in a few weeks which would be almost 10 lbs. of adult Red Wigglers for only $55.00 which is pretty cheap if you can live with the extra time required for the cocoons to hatch and get up and start eating and reproducing.
RE: Fishing worms - sometimes around here the fishing worms are not true nightcrawlers like you find in the USA but are the European Nighcrawlers (Eisenia hortensis) variety. They are a true composting worm and can grow to be quite large - 6 - 8" in length. Many of the worm operations will include both the Red Wiggler as well as the European Nightcrawler to improve the EWC texture and size of the actual casting. Larger castings (physical size) often results in a drier product and avoids the problems like CC1 mentioned.
I have ordered from Blue Ridge Vermiculture on 4 or 5 occasions for others and they have always been a first-rate company to do business with.

So today is a new day and some seedlings are looking good! I had hit them with an ACT yesterday and that seems have got things back on track a little bit. At least until i get my EWC in there.
For the most part the plants are starting to get chlorophyll back into leaves they can still salvage. Other plants which were on the verge of dying look like they can make a comeback. Gonna hope for the best, but start more seeds anyways.
I gotta find my battery charger for this camera. I wanna take pic's of the flowering cab coming back after being tied down. The ancient afghan is the weirdest plant i've ever smelled in my life. Dont laugh, but it reminds of me of peaches and something kind of disgusting like shit or vomit...Not really feeling it, hopefully it gets better...

I'd say he left pic...HPS really sucks to take pix under...I've recently discovered that turning off the HPS and just using a flash with enough background light to see through the view finder works okay...but I'm no photographer.

I'm struggling with this new camera. Its easy to take good pics with this camera, but hard to get good colors. I keep getting really off colors from what is actually there. I'm thinking about just taking pics once every couple of days and just throw in a MH for a little. I love digital ballasts!!
Sadly it looks like i lost a c99, but that should be the last loss that occurs. I was gonna cull it anyways since it was the smallest, slowest growing. Just wanted to give the runt a chance.

well luckily i got some EWC today from a friend and topped dressed all the babies with a slurry. The ACT helped start bringing the plants back, so the EWC should be the boost they need. I'm just having a problem getting good colors with this camera, it makes everything look more yellow.

Plants in veg are back to normal. I had soaked them with some comfrey/fish tea and now have appeared to take off. Leaf size is increasing and the yellowing is non existant except for one bad C99.

Tip for the photo's - what always worked for me was to fire the flash when taking pics under an HPS, because it helps the color temp. Not knowing what kind of camera you have, forcing the flash is the easiest way to get 'better' color. Photoshop is easier, but costly (or pirated)

Had to chop yesterday...Security concerns came about and i almost moved all the plants out....probably the stupidest thing i could've done but i was panicking in a rush...
these stunk up my whole house. I'm loving the increased density per bud. Its a big step up over the 150w+70w hps.
Here's how the chamber is looking now....Theres some more ELE in there, and some UK Cheese x SSCH. The big yielder is gonna be the Trainwreck x Afghan. Ancient Afghan has nice structure though.

Dried nugs....decent yield considering only half the pot was filled with soil and this plant wasnt vegged to long
Sure, i just need one more day or so, to atleast start a cure.
So far I can tell you this bud is smelling super chemmy, meaty with almost a kushy hint to it. Reminds me of some OG Kush I had, but not as kushy, but much more fuel/petrol/funk, no citrus here....

Well here's my sober smoke report. I haven't smoked today and will go step by step.
Visual- Sativa ike structure but with indica density. Great crystal coverage, best i've grown. It could've filled out a little better, but this was my fault due to having to chop. This will be a headier smoke since it was chopped earlier when there were only about 5% amber.
Smell- This stuff has a potent smell. Stronger than Chemdawg D i've sampled and reminding me more of trainwreck with an OG kush after smell. I'm guessing this is from the Alpha Diesel side of the ELE. The smell is spicy, hashy, jet fuel with an OG kush smell lingering. I cant put my finger on what chemical it smells like, but i was leaning towards race fuel mixed with a meaty, kushy after smell. This stuff makes dry rub just from breaking buds up, and is very fragrant!
Taste- Yesterday i smoked a joint of this and it had a taste that reminded me of a mix of spicy light lavender/light sage. Very smooth smoke but has that typical expansion that always reminds me of sour diesel. This is really just a note, for the differences betweeen moking methods.
While smoking- Sober, out of the bong this stuff hits hard!! Instantly leaves a strong diesel taste with a hint of citrus, The high starts in the head and works its way on.
So far 5 minutes into it no body effects. The expansion is hard, and you find yourself with more smoke than you remember inhaling. This high is all in the head, and was a nice way to wake up. Very speedy in the mind, but calm in the body.
10 minutes into it, the body effects are building on stronger, now giving me a heavy/floating type feeling while laying down. My eye's feel a little heavier but the high is very enjoyable and relatively "fast paced".
I had some nausea going on and this bud eliminated it quick fast and in a hurry. I can see this being good medical stuff. Been one of the stronger varieties i have grown, and is making my back pain relatively non-existent.
