Only thing I wonder is if used for flowering, would it give the same light intensity as a standard 600w hps? Meaning the same amount of light penetration and cover the same square footage? I know nothing about this but I'd assume no, because it's two arc's in one bulb?

the post says each light arc is 300 Watts, i wonder how compatible with existing ballasts this thing is, also, I wonder if the plan a 400 watt dual arc bulb because 600 watt is out of many peoples heat / power range.

a 600 hps is normally like 90,000 lumens or something, this is closer to a 600 watt MH bulb as far as lumens, which is practically intensity, and about as close as we'll get with the data available
