Your grow is looking good. Nice a bushy plant development.

Did I miss it? What kind of light are you using and when do you plan on going 12/12?

Aurora Indica, you should be OK man! 30". Being Indica's you'll prolly get 25-50% stretch, somthing like this, if they were sativas i would of advised you to learn how to stop/reduce stretch by using the Stem Crush/Pinch tecnique, a type of HST which reduces/halts stretch.
ill see what i can find on the tec for you & forward a link but i think you'll be just perfect personally, stay cool, looking good, ill go read your showthread from page one & get back to you. Hope you find this good news!

what lamp are you using? MH would also help reduce stretch during the first 21 days of 12/12, HPS(Son-T etc) on the red end of the light spectrum promote stretch, while lamps adjusted to the blue end of the spectrum like MH would help reduce it. not that your strain needs this influence but i'd thought id mention it.

many thanks Scrogerman im sure you when you have read it you will notice there is only the one aurora left the others are mandela safari mix and it looks to me that there is two in there. which deffinitley could be sativa as the fan leaves are a lot thinner than the auroras. but thats just my guess. been very new to this dwc game im always trying to learn as its going 3 times faster than any soil grow i have ever done once again i appreciate all the help i can get :thank you:

In that case then the Mandala strains will prolly need the stem crushing HST(High Stress Training) tec im speaking of.
When i do it, i come say 3 to 4 nodes down from the tip & rub for a minute between my index finger n thumb(fast n gently) causing some friction/warmth, this will just help make the crush point more pliable(alot less chance of it snapping - yeah!), as if you were going to bend the top over, after a minute or two i would gently start to Crush the stem at the rub point, 360 degree's around the crush point, you may or may not feel a little crack in your fingers, dont worry, its what i look for but its only slight, just be gentle. try reading up on the tec & HST before you do it to give you a better idea, im not the best at explaining things like this, but i think you get the idea. its a very effective stretch stopper once you get the hang of it, just go easy, its no race, take your time! & remember to rub the crush point.

(Edit)
There are chemicals you can use too, like Dutchmaters-Phosphoload or Humbolt County's-'Bushmaster', theres others too, they contain paclobutrazol & ive recently read its possibly carcinogenic, ive never used it, but i believe it can be effective. Id just go with the stem crush if i were you. the plant will put its energys on repairing the crush rather than expending energy on stretching, sure you get my drift. ill see what i can dig out on it for you bro, but thats the general idea!

Good Luck!

This thread may help some. Topping in Veg can help reduce overall verticle height too.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=104379

Im still looking for the exact thread i meant!

DWC really does kick fkin arse, & its easy once you get the hang of it, otherwise known(AKA) as 'The Lazy Mans Grow'(an old buddy once told me this! n he was right- as usual!), not sure about the Lazy but it is easy, as long as you keep on top of it.

Your lamp moved closer to your plants may also help reduce stretch, It looks like its miles away from the plant tops, how far exactly is it bro?

Here's a couple of helpful links for you bro:

http://www.angelfire.com/cantina/fourtwenty/yor/lightres.htm

http://www.cannastats.com/index.html

There gonna kick into the stretch phase in the next few days or more, usually goes on untill around day 28 of 12/12, are you gonna try & help halt the stretch by slightly crushing the Mandala Safari Mix stems?
Optimal Lamp height is gonna help reduce stretch alot, so good move lowering it.
If it starts getting a little too warm , try aiming an extra little fan 'Up' at the light/lamp to help cool it, usually does the trick!;)

Looking good, dont forget to post pics bro!

G'Luck!

So did you see it have an effect?, this tec has served me well man. You'll suss it im sure. Youve spaced them out well with the Safari's around the perimeter, that stretch should be coming to an end now/slowing down.! Lookin Good!

G'Luck Mate!
