I have a 1000 W followed by a 600 and then another 600. The last 600 has the lowest light intensity of any area in the garden. The entire grow space is 8 ft by 4.5 ft with complete reflective area around it. Currently I am doing alternative runs instead of 1 big run every 2 months. The question I had was would it be better to run the new group for 4 weeks under the 600 and then over to 1600 for the last 4 weeks? Or should I just have a small run under the 600 and a big one under the 1600?

I am curious as I want to have good growth but don't want plants revegging or foxtailing because of the extra juice in the 2nd half of flowering. I just wanted to see what people are doing in similar situations. Thanks

This is a good question... I would do as you first described. Maybe keeping them under the 600 for veg and the first two weeks of flowering, then switching em to 1800 watts to finish em off and pack on weight. They may end up stretching a lot though... You should try both! goodluck

You should check your bulb and or ballast.
Check out this thread for how to check your ballast https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=159066

There all less then a year old digital ballasts. VERY nice thread bump though as I used this when I first got onto ICmag to change out some of my caps on my older magnetic ballasts. I was just thinking because the one area has alot less light lumens then the other half. I had my last 600 ballast pretty far from the outside wall as well. If my hoods were all the same size I would have put the 1000W in the middle and have a more inform light pattern.
