Pruning in flowering

I trimmed back the girls at day 10 but is see more popcorn nuggs now. Is 22 days to old for a bottom trim? I have never pruned this late into flowering.

In my opinion it is too bit late to add stress to your plants. It won't kill them but it will stress them a bit = lower yeild. It is best to do it the first or second week..You will just be lowering your yeild. just make hash out of the corn and enjoy.

If your plants are healthy it is not a problem, I do it after the stretch, then I can see what will get light and what needs to be removedl

This raises a good point some strains stretch for 3 weeks+ so depending on strain it could be fine to prune. Most of my strains finish the stretch at 2 weeks ish so I like pruning before flower intiation. If you have a very healthy vigourous plant it won't hurt much but adding stress during initiation of flowering is to be avoided imo. That said there is always more than one way to skin the proverbial cat...cheers,
