Hey all  Just was wondering...

Looks like people have some larger growrooms there..

Here in Europe, specially in France, it's quite expensive..

Around 0.10 euros a KW/H..
(+100euros/year subscription and about 20% tax)

Please let me know, and thanks for the answers..

1 euro = 1.35 US Dollar.
I'm curious..:dance013:

I'm in the uk, and pay 12.5 pence per kw/h (although I am charged around 20 p per kw/h for the first 900 units used per year, which is ridiculous)

Mine is 0.09 per kw/hr, but it is about to go up because TVA has been on the federal dole for quite a while now and they are about to get cut off.

In B.C. we pay 6.27 cents a kilowatt hour, but that changes as consumption goes up;

How the rate works

Based on BC Hydro's recently-filed Fiscal 2011 revenue requirement application, effective April 1, 2010, residential customers will pay 6.27 cents per kWh for the first 1,350 kWh they use over a two-month billing period. Above that amount, customers will pay 8.78 cents per kWh for the balance of the electricity used during the billing period. This rate structure is designed to encourage conservation and is referred to as a "stepped rate". The first portion is called Step 1 and the amount above that is called Step 2.

NOTE: The exact amount of electricity you are charged for at the Step 1 price is based on the number of days in your billing cycle. The 1,350 kWh figure is based on an average two-month billing cycle. To calculate how much electricity you are charged for at the Step 1 price, multiply the number of days in your billing cycle by 22.1918 kWh per day which is calculated in the following way: 1,350 kWh multiplied by 6 bi-monthly billing periods in one year divided by 365 days in the year = 22.1918 kWh/day.

20-25 cent per kwh in Scandinavien, its expensive over here :p

here in oakland california its pretty expensive. up to .40 cents a kwh at peak usage.

my rates are as follows...( i have CARE which is a little cheaper)

base1 - 11 cents kwh
base 2- 13.5 cents a kwh
base 3- 29 cents a kwh
base 4- 40 cents a kwh

Talking to other growers in my area...running 5 lights will cost around 1100 a month. running 10 lights is like 2300 a month.

When i ran a 2400w grow my rates were around 250 a month. Right now with care im pulling around 1600watts and my bill is 95 bucks a month, but i expect that to hit around 500 bucks a month once i bump it up to 4 lights. thank god for CARE!!
