well i'm starting seeds in the old stuff... gotta grow some out in small pots and pick mothers.

so about 3 months? It's getting light, I could put cover in, and some more bokashi I have that is really ripe... biotone has plenty of manure though.

what do you think for cover? bright, indirect light.

the calcined DE rocks! I moistened when I screened it, for dust and to rinse. Thirsty but gives it up. It was just right for moistening the peat.

i just keep my soil that is in bins outside, stacked. with lids so the rain doesn't drench them.

You can pretty much unfold the sides completely so as long as it isn't stuck Ina closet and u can get to 3 of the 4 walls I think pulling them out on a dolly may be unnessecsry.

now that it's set up, I think I see what you mean. there shouldn't be any need to move them much. I'm thinking I might have just one on a dolly at a time. so just one dolly.

just bought a 15L airpot to evaluate if i can use them in my grow. i'm encouraged by how rigid they are. bit tall but i can cut a couple of layers of nobbles off if necessary
i reckon i might be able to attach one of my wooden screens to the airpot without too much in the way of extravagant nonsense. watch this space

yeah vg it should be easy. and the 100 gal smart pot would really impress you. it's like a big soil cooking cauldron.

mine have handles. I'm going to make PVC frames for the mod scrogs. rather than attaching them with fasteners, there will be a "foot" that sits in the bottom of each container. when the time comes, the screen is attached easy and simple.

I thought of you today because I was at Harbor Freight and they had the dollies that you lay on to do work under a car. They were only $25 and would hold 2-3 pots. Might be a good option for what you're trying to do....(they also had regular dollies as well)

thanks ctguy!

I think I can get away with just one dolly, but of course we shall have to see. I bought some casters, so it will have to be diy. it would be nice to have a round shape.

it's gonna be a while before I update, since I am working with seedlings now to find some mothers. as a rule i dont post shots of high plant numbers the lineup so far is 3 mandala 1, 3 blue satellite 2.2, and about 10 bagseed. to this I will eventually add 8 miles high and whatever freebie is on its way. I am impressed with the vigor of the mandala once it is established, but 2/5 were not really viable, producing stunted sprouts with no obvious cause. the blue sat and bagseed were more reliable. in both failed seeds, the vascular system did not seem to connect the roots to the leaves very well.

one happy point - I divided my carnivorous plants and took them out of dormancy, and the 600w mh is making them take on color and some nice thick foliage with way more trichomes than I am used to seeing. I am almost hoping for fungus gnats just to watch the slaughter.
