You got major pH problems and the mix is too hot.
I've never heard east coast vs. west coast mixes of ffof. Sounds flaky.
Next time, try Sunshine Mix or ProMix with EWC, dolomite lime and perlite.
Flawless pH every time.

looks like the plants ar happier now

heres some hints on watering

some citys use cloriene to sanitize your drinking water, mine dose so i fill my 1 gal jugs and allow 12-24 hrs of sittn uncapped before use. this time period allow the cloriene to evaporate.

my water PH is 7.2 direct from the tap and 400-600ppm if it's just a plain watering i adjust waters PH to 6.5. for me thats 1/4 tsp GH PH down. if it's a fert watering i add desired ferts allow to sit a few min's shake very good then take the waters PH messurement and adjust as needed.

my PH meter broke over 3 yrs ago and i havent bought 1 since ive learned what the ferts i use do to my waters PH value and whats needed to adjust to 6.5

on watering i prefer the lift pot method

when i water its to just achive drainage this equals 15-20% drainage i allow the plant to finish draining then i pick her up. this is the plants approx weight when watered, now each day lift the pot you'll notice the pots weight becom less. when my pots weight approx 25% of just watered thier light enough to get watered again.

the above method has allowed me to not over water

i never worrie about the drainage runoff PH only whats going in i have some very healthy happy plants

Noobiean is right on the mark. We use dip-n-grow for the rooting solution. I also use Supperthrive on clones w/ 100% results. The soil we use is "bumpercrop" from our local nursery. Ph very happy @ 7.0 Hope this helps. Peace

Thanks guys Im on to something now they just got sunshine #4 at my local store ill try that next but for now the clones seem to have took to the ocean forest and are about to vegitate. THANKS TO ALL!

hi FoxFarmOF direct from the bag mixed well before use is great on fresh rooted clones been doing this for 6yrs n/p. i'll use a bag of FFOF soil 1 - 12 quart bag of black gold perlite and mix good in 32 gal trashcan. FFOF can sometimes have hotspots because soil sat for a spell but a good mixn before use fixs the problem.

coco FFOF perlite and vermiculite wow coco and vermiculite holds water dosent allow the meduim to dry out between waterings when soil is envolved.

coco and soil require 2 different PH's to obtain optimum plant growth

where your clones rooted or freshly cut ??? when you planted them ???

FFOF is ph ballanced 5.5-6.5 with crushed oyster shell

as above.. as long as the clones were well established.. ( this is an area of differing opinions) as I do mine in rapid rooters or equivalent. I do cut my ffof more with perlinte for the clones then I do for mature plants but never had burn or deficiency in the clone/veg transition stage with this method ... KISS... grow on:tiphat:
