Today I gets a letter in the mail and my gf tells me it's from the local police department so right away I start going into alert mode when she opens my letter and theirs a small hand written note with a civil citation and envelope with a $100.00 fine.

Mind you this happened on the 13th of this month and got the letter today..

WTF??? It says that I was waiting at a red light with 2 signs 1 on the left of the main road and light and 1 on the right side of the road and I was the first suv at the right side of the road and MUST TURN right but I was forced to stay in the right lane due to traffic until the light turned green and I had my left blinker on to merge to the middle lane to go up the main road to the post office.

Well this **** cop going to work in his own private car is the car that I went in front of before he could go straight up the same main street to the police station to report for work and got pissed at me because I jetted in front of him so he writes down my plate and does a check and sends me the note and civil citation for the $100 for Improper lane change..

I called the station and asked if this asshole had the right to be in his personal car off duty and give me or anyone a ticket and I was told yes, so I called the RMV and spoke to a traffic dept, person who told me any cop can have the right to take a tag/plate number if they witness a violation and write and send a ticket WTF!! is this excessive Power or what!!!!

I hate going to court or being around any mofo'kers that look, dress, smell like leo so I will make a call to my car Insurance company first to see if this will fuck up my clean drivers license record and will I have to have points on my records and drive up my policy for 3 or 5 years because of an asshole who was pissed I went in front of him and decided to take revenge on me with a lame ass $100 ticket the dickhead..

I once got pulled over by a cop (in Australia)who was to pissed to stand up properly and he had the hide to lecture me about not wearing a seat belt..I fight tickets if I don't believe they were just and I have a good track record of winning, judge even went 50/50 once cause he didn't know who to believe! I know court is the last place anyone wants to hang out but fuck it Roachy...fight the bastards

Goto court tell them you cannot afford to have your insurance go up and ask if you can pay a bigger fine todya and keep points off your license... usually they say ok....

I like the cant prove it was you driving thing but if a friend borrows your cars geta lot of parking tickets its on your regardless i bet they would say the smae shit....

It's that simple, go tell the judge that it's BS and it might not even have been you driving the vehicle that day.

The judge will throw it out. But if you DON'T go and contest it then you actually make it easier for the pricks to keep doing it to other people.

If you don't state your objection, you willingly accept it as legitimate.

Hey Roach I just went to court for Posession and Bad Inspection!!! So $360$ later the judge asked me if I learned my lesson and I said NO and he did have much to say about that!! He asked how many times I was arrested or for this and I told him a couple!!To say the least!! Me and the judge were alone in the court room but I think if anyone else were there he would have gave me a much harder time!! Its all a racket and it gets easier for them to do what they want when ever they desire!!!FIGHT THE POWER

Gracias everyone, It just gets me pissed that a pig can drive in their own rides and if someone steps in front of them lets say without a blinker on they have the right all day long to send out tickets and shit I can peel the $100 all day long but it's the *POWER TRIPS* these dicks have when they get pissed or feel like ruining someone's driving records fk that..

I guess I will have to dust off the dress cloths and appeal this mofo because I might have fell on the ground but I sure as hell will allways get right back up!!

if you have the money ad want to be a prick (i only say this cause it will cost more tha nthe fine) call a lawyer who specializes in this stuff in that area and get an opinion

just give you a little example

a lawyer in my wife's family (which hjas some very high ranking LEO) is a pot/deadhead and he was smoking some weed in NYC and a undercover rolls up won him give him a ticket of smoking in public

he simply contested to the judge that to because smoking in public the crime needs to be reported by the public not an employee of the state

subsequently it was thrown out right away

Now your in a tricky spot only because if he was so motivated to write you up he may have made sure to dot his Is and cross his Ts but then again he might have broken the enforcement codes writing you up the way he did

cops are state employees basically civil service employees

offices like internal affairs and office of judicial discipline strike a lil fear into the hearts of those who need someone else to pay them to eat

If your state is like mine, you can go see a hearing officer over traffic stuff.
The guys not a judge, just a court official, it's just you and him in a room together.
Deny you were driving, and say that the first you heard about this was when the ticket came in the mail.
Say that it's BS, and you don't want it on your record.
What they do next is offer you a chance to pay "administration fees" that are the same amount as the ticket fine, and then suspend the case for one year, at the end of which time if you had no same or similar violations, it's dismissed.
They get their money, and you don't get the ticket on your record.

I've done this literally 10 + times, same result every time.
They see you're ready to fight it, and they say fuck it, just give us the money and we'll make it go away basically.
