Ok where to begin, Ive always been a lurker here and overgrow for that matter, just too paranoid to post. Anywho I haven't been able to grow for the past year and looks like it might be a few more years before I can. Working on a masters and don't have the time nor place to grow, so I decided I would share something with you guys.


So freshmen year college I meet a friend. Good guy always had bomb weed. Year later I get an off campus place and decide I want to start a grow. My friend watches me try and fail a few times with cfl's and a bunch of other bad practices and he never really shows any intrest. One day Im over my friends place, which I had been to dozens of times, he pulls me into his back bedroom and shows me a little 400watt closet setup he had going. 3 amazing looking girls in full flower.

A week later I have a similar setup, and coupled with his knowledge and a ton of reading on overgrow Im good to go.

Stick with me guys this is where it gets good I inquire to him about seeds or clones to get started. next day he shows up at my place with a couple film containers, each one filled to the brim, hundreds of seeds. he gives me 30 or so.

Ok the good part. I ask were he got all the seeds I wasn't intrested in growing mexican brick. He proceeds to tell me a story about his Dad. My friend is from upstate NY, my school is over a thousand miles away. Anywho he tells me his dad was good friends with a guy who recieved large amounts of middle eastern hash during the 70's. At some point this guy got a kilo of seeded bud in with his hash. My friends dad buys a good portion.

Next he Tells me his dad has been growing an outdoor plot just about every year since then. Every year he would cross his best looking female to his nicest male.

Ok so Im thinking Ill give them a shot but wasn't too optimistic. I just remember looking online at ten packs of seeds going for hundreds of dollars, I got these for free and my friend had hundreds how good could they be.

So I pop 5
All plants showed vigorous growth one was just average maybe on the slow side. (oh and guys don't make fun of my room/equipment this was my first real grow)

I LST trained 2 and left the other 3 alone.

Ok so the beastly one or most vigorous turns out to be a male, bummer.
The 4 others turn out to be ladies. All will be very good, one will be exceptional.

Ok so these plants have pretty similar characteristics. they all showed flowers 5 to 6 days after flipping. Also they all developed flower clusters really quickly they make these golf ball sized clusters real quick then essentially stop growing. It seems that after that all the plants energy goes into resin/trichome preduction. also the stretch is almost non exsistant even with 4 good sized plants under a 400. these pics are of the trichomes around 20 days.

Ok this was my favorite. The pictures don't do the trichome production justice. The smell is very light just a little hint of menthol and lemon. Taste is is light to just super smooth hits with a little lemon on the exhale. Potency I believe can compete with almost anything.

A year after this grow I moved and setup a dual 600 watt sysytem. In the 4 years i ran that setup I only found one plant I liked more. I grew out sensi star, Black domina, serious AK, and rez's chemdog double D. I grew them all out from seed and the only more potent plant I found was a chemdog pheno of rez's cross. Now that shit was good.
