Did you see the interview on the Dr Phil show? He was arrested as early as this summer for urinating in a parking lot, being abusive when the cops came and his "girlfriend" was leaving and coming back with numerous men, which she was having sex with. Dr. Phil got this out of him after he said "he'd found God"....

Trust me when I say Ole Dr Phil wasn't doing him any favors.... The poor guys going to regret doing this....

Everybody deserves a second chance. But hard drugs are tough to break. Especially when you have money. Best of luck to you Ted.

don't all panhandlers say they've been clean for two years?

except the truthful ones who say they're going to go buy beer

IME with opiate addiction (I don't know his drug of choice) you have to be ready to quit for yourself. So if he quit because he couldn't fund the habit anymore the odds of him starting it again are good because he can now fund it. If he quit because he was truly ready to quit and he found god while doing so then I think he will do good with his new life. From one addict to another I wish him the best. Good luck Ted.

Ted Williams to Enter Rehab for Drugs & Alcohol

The "golden-voiced" homeless man Ted Williams is going into rehab for drugs and alcohol dependency. Williams made the decision during a taping for the "Dr. Phil Show" today -- two days after the LAPD detained him over a verbal altercation with his daughter at a Hollywood hotel.

According to a press release for the show, Ted "has been drinking daily, despite his adamant claims of sobriety."

No word on whether his new employers will stick with him.

Good luck to him

maybe they put this man in the spotlight in order to make an example of why they don't hand jobs out to criminal drug addicts

So will he go to Dr. Phil's house or Dr. Drew's "Celebrity" rehab?
So many choices nowadays...
