In most places, I thought IQ tests for LEOs was SOP. Too low an IQ (like a Barney Fife?) and they cannot be trained, but too high an IQ and they cannot be trusted not to "game" the system, such as it is. Then again, I could be wrong. That is one LEO whose "elevator doesn't go to the top floor".
