Hey I'm new to this whole thing and this is my first grow in soil. I'm using a miracle grow organic potting soil. I don't know exactly how long my veg stage lasted but I ran 18/6 starting sometime around August-September. The plants all came from seeds and of the 16 seeds I started with 12 were healthy and of those 7 were female. I now have 7 lovely ladies all around 2.5 to 3 ft. I'm currently in week 5 of flowering and I was wondering how they were looking to everyone else. I feel like there should be more buds but maybe I'm just being a little impatient? Anyways here are some pics. Give me your thoughts.

And btw here's a pic of my supplements im using as well.

What is the strain you are growing. I would need to know that to make a quess om yield. Also what kind of light. Without knowing anything 2oz per plant?

Dont forget to flush those plants. Your using Chem Nutients I dont like using these kinds but many do. I only use Organic like Pure blend Pro.

Yeah the seeds are from random bags ive bought over the last year or so. The light is an HPS 250watt. But do they look healthy or undersized?

Nope looks good for only a 250. Im using a 400 for now. I can get 3 oz from ea plant. I only put 4 plants max under a 400.

Your buds will be small and not very dense. Genetics will play a role here. Bag seed hard to judge what you will get

Nice nute line-up, I really like General Hydro.

Your first garden is looking great, and I would be very happy with the results, keep it up.

Considering many strains flower for 10-11 weeks, I would say those plants are right on schedule at 5 weeks, nothing looks stunted. Yield is difficult to determine, but you can probably expect 1 1/2 oz to 2 oz per plant.

I wouldn't worry yet, about how much they will yield, just focus on growing the plants well, and then next round try and work the yields.

No it's too late for clones. Maybe it could be done but they would take ages to grow roots and most of them propably wouldn't make it. Not really worth the effort.

darksage, you can take clones any time. It's better to take cuts in veg because the cuttings you'll take have to revert from flower back to veg. This means whatever lighting schedule you veg under.

Another thing you can do is reveg one or more root balls. Leave a little greenage after your harvest, bust the root ball down to the size of a tennis ball and replant the rootball with greenage above ground.

As a general rule of thumb, indoor plants enjoy 50 watts of HID lighting per square foot of grow space. A 250 hps is good for 5 square feet and will penetrate as much as ~18" into the canopy, depending on canopy density.

With the light up high, you can get more plants under the lamp. But if you'll limit your space to 5 square feet, you can lower the lamp as close to your canopy as your air system allows. With proper cooling, you can get that lamp as close as 4 to 5 inches, maybe closer. When the lamp is that close, you'll get bigger buds, you'll net more harvest and the bud density will impress.

Looking good for a new hobby.:)
