Any complications from living in the same room as your plants

I was just wondering if there is any breathing or other complications that can occur if living in the same room as your plants. Although i doubt it I was just wondering if maybe the plants or the carbon filter can emit anything I shouldnt be breathing on a regular basis. I have a small cabinet using a sunblaze t5 fixture with ocean forest and going to start using earth juice. Its not many plants as I am legal under california prop 215 and cant grow many =/.

as long as you avoid any mold problems it will be fine. The carbon filter will take everything bad out of the air.

LOL I don't think so man, I thought you were concerned about the effect on the plants.

it's good for you. the plants will filter your air and increase o2. the carbon filter also deodorizes and removes larger particulates.

i think plants improve the spiritual energy of a room too.

lol thanks guys I kind of figured it was unlikely but I thought ide ask. Will the carbon filter take care of all the pollen in the air as well? I know I have been sneezing alot, but my can filter is like 5 years old I think its time for a new one.

Been growing bedside for almost two years now! haha my rooms more like a grow room with a bed squeezed between the tents hahaha. I also have two leather chairs facing the tent so as to watch the show! hahaha. Five years! i heard there good for about a year or two, but don't quote me on that.

my plants were just roommates at first, but eventually we got comfortable and things started to happen. I haven't slept alone since.

if security is a risk, everything in the room will smell like pot. that means you.

I guess I would say get a really good exhaust going and make sure your air is moving. No breathing problems that I know of unless your using carbon dioxcide without a meter which isn't a great idea. Make sure no mold is forming anywhere very important part. peace out Headband707

*sigh* too bad.. best .. smell.. ever..
I'd wear it as a perfume if i could.. Probably never get another date again, but a girl has her priorities, you know..

I don't think it's an issue - as a matter of fact, while the lights are on, the plants use Carbon Dioxide and give off oxygen and help purify the air (reverse in darkness, but not enough to be a concern) - rooms with plants in them always have a "fresh" smell to them, even if "fresh" might smell a little funky :)

Edit: Agreed with Growcodile; don't hang out in a room with an ozonator

I had a small hydro organic grow in my closet and the only problem I had besides noise was the smell of the fresh nutrients when I changed my rez. It would give me a head ache after an hour or so even with my window wide open and fans blaring.

I found a complication.

Say you just met a great girl, and you talk her into coming home with you... now you either have to tell this person what you are doing, or come up with a reason to stay out of the bedroom.

some scenarios:

1)She is into it, and loves to smoke! yay! until you realize you only grow enough for 1. doh!
2)it's a major turn-off for her, and now this person who is about to walk away knows your secret, or even worse, wants to stay and wants you to quit.
3)She is into it, and loves to talk to her girlfriends about every little secret in her life. The girlfriends are hot. You have a brief affair with one of them, then dump her and recommit to your lady. Hot friend gets upset and calls the fuzz.

You need a light source in the room other than the glow of an hps. My eyes are really not healthy and I'm blaming a decade of having the orange glow light leek as my main light source.
