I really get a kick out of hydro! Every time I change from soil to hydro I'm blown away by how much faster it goes! :dance013:

System looks great, could we get a closeup and a deception of the build parts?
Have you thought about adding a bio filter in your system? It's the perfect root rot protection, wouldn't grow in hydro without it.

Looking forward to this!:tiphat:

cheese with out full pictures of whats going on i see that you have a drip ring, id make sure that the ring isn't shooting water directly at the root mass of the clone. you want it around the outside of the clones roots to make them grow out towards the water. too much water is bad for them at the early stages. once they become established dial it up as much as possible.

Your medium is interesting to say the least. I prefer lava rock as it provides an area for the beneficial to grow and provides many little pockets for air, second best imo is hydrocorels. being that the stones you are using are so smooth and not porous i don't know if that medium is going to help or hurt you. i suppose as long as you have an air gap and the temps are within range it wouldnt matter much anyway.

hey guys thx for stopin by. this will be my 8th or 9th DWC grow over the last 4 years. and also I have never had root rot. thats not to say I never will. well I hope I never get R rot.

I grow in all 3 kinds medums like soil, coco and DWC. I like soil outdoors in the summer and I really like coco for my indoor plants I also love DWC style indoors too.
and I havent gotton the chance to grow in coco or hydroponics OUTDOORS yet. but next summer Im gunna try them both out. :D

and now for the deception of the build parts? I drew in full color what they both look like. and if thats not enough I can just tell ya about it.

the first one is DWC remixed. the pump is on a timer set to turn on and off so the roots dont get over watered.
and yess there is enough air space inbetween them glass stones.
and I was thinking of adding an extra airstones to this one for more air in the water.

and the 2ed one is a regulas style DWC with 2 air stones. and this is the same one I have been grown in 4 years.

anyway hope this clears things up a little more. this should be a funn grow.

and yes I too am blown away at how fast they can grow in hydroponics.

Looks cool! I'm looking forward.

Do you have some kind of filter to prevent roots from getting into the water pump?

new pix. a bit of a slow start but in do time they will grow much bigger.

and after the big girl is done I was gunna mabe try and reveg her outdoors in a medum size make shift green house. :D
then the grow space will get a good cleaning befor the seedlings get moved under the light. then the grow should be ready to take off fo sho.
