im at 21 days at 12/12 what is the ideal ec reading at this stage of flowering i no its can depened on what strain but a rough idea will do cheers EASY
Optimal ec depends on the water/nutient uptake ratio.
The ratio depends on growth rate(nutrient consumption), temperature, RH and air circulation.
In general, Low light + high heat = low ec. And the other way round.
cheers for the replys well my ppm are at 1000 @.5 scale so i guess this is to high then well we'll see what effect this haS had when i pop today ,there is plenty of DO in the system as there is a 10 waterfall in the res as well as a 3" waterfall in each pot , there is also a airstone in each one aswell , so there is plenty of do.
The res temps goes between 63 and 69 and i use tap water which is at 300ppm and a ph of between 7.2 and 7.9 straight out the tap , it can change daily
can any tell me.
When you have a biofilter do you use less nutes ?
thanks for taking the time to read this and happy growing
cheers EASY
SUPERPEDRO the ppm stays the same daily but the rez has been adding 10lt a day top up and what is the idea humidity when in flower at the minute it goes as low as 20% can you have it to low cheers EASY
can i just add my ph is at 5.5 once nutes are added and its been in the system 24 hours no mater what i do ph will go back to 5.5
No, the filter doesn't supply any levels on nutrients worth mentioning. Just keeps the water safe from rot and NH4 buildup.
I run mine at 50% humidity through flower.
Low humidity makes your plants drink allot more water. If they get to dry and cant keep up with evaporation, stomata closes to save water thereby lowering the CO2 uptake.
How dry is to dry, also depends on temperature and air circulation. But anything below 40% is considered low.
If you ppm's doesn't drop by adding water every night, it could sound like your solution is to strong.
No way.........As plants eat nutes ph rises and ppm`s drop....in a dialed setup using R/O ....IF you top off with tapwater that has "unknown" ppm`s and ph that raise numbers and drifts that cause fluctuation as in Freezerboy`s addback`s and topoff`s , then you get what yas get.....and deal with it accordingly ok ?.......................
