medicann or not

I want to get a feeling on how many of us use them. I have used them in the past with no issues and my rec is expiring.

My issue with Medicann was that every year I went it was a different doctor. I didnt really feel like they'd show up in court to support if the worst case ( LEO comes knocking) occured. I don't know where you're at but I'd suggest a place where there's only one doctor & verify their willingness to back up their reccomendation if you need them too.

I here ya but they can say what ever they want does not mean they will follow through. The guy I saw was a wierd loking small dude.

I used them for my rec, and was completely unimpressed by the quack that was handing them out. On the other hand, dispensaries have told me several times how nice it is to use them because of the ease of verification.

i like um cuz cops see them as very legitimate and can verify in the middle of the night. most professional in my opinion.

I like Medicann because it cost me $50 dollars a year for my renewal (medicare discount), and I have seen the same doctor every year.

many clubs WILL NOT accept medicann for your recommendation doctor, as do my collective....

wonder what would be better if you got into trouble. a mass recommendation company that had 10's of thousands of patients, or a real doctor....

I'm not too sure that you are wrong about them being a good example of what is wrong with mmj, but my experience with them is different than what you are describing. I got my rec at a regular office in central California, not a hotel conference room. And while the pot quack forgot to ask me for the recommendation from my real doctor, as well as having to be prompted to look at my extensive documentation, I have been into numerous collectives and they are all more than happy to accept Medicann's rec. As I said above, the only comment that I have ever heard, and I have heard it more than once, is that it is a pleasure for them to use the Medicann web site for verification. I don't think that it makes a hill of shit if you get in trouble who the issuing authority was - they have all been licensed and are theoretically equal in the eyes of the law.
