There is a thread on here which displays 3 phenominal looking phenos so far. One is the variegated one with pink trichs and leaf caking. One is a black calyxed pheno. The last one was purple. really Amazing pics which make me glad I chose them.

this last yrs weather was shitty for outdoor!! but i def would go seed all the way!!! i've never had good experiences with clones outdoors!!!

so i got the skinny on the "fire" cut from pnc back in august 2010, not the real deal.... pissed yet again about misrepresentation. however, i'm told he has the real deal now so another 1000 mile round trip should be no prob...... argh! i think we have a whole tray of to differently sourced fake fire cuts. these best produce more than smoke. poop on a stick.......:/ whats next artificial vagina??? oh yeah, nevermind

I really appreciate the service APE and others do but too many times I have been dissapointed with PNC. I can't afford to waste 12+ weeks of veg/flower just to end up with something I didn't pay for. Or (I've heard rumors there has been a slight improvement regarding infestations) even mites/PM. 3 different purchases from PNC, 2 times got spider mites and the 3rd time PM (partially my fault for providing the conditions) and the wrong strain ^_^ I know they are capable of producing clean/legit cuts though and where else in the country can you walk out of a storefront with elite top shelf clones for 10-15?

@ The PNC topic- You guys have to realize before you go to PNC. This is a place that deals with Thousands of cuts. "Thousands".
when dealing with numbers in these amounts, statisticly speaking there are bound to be anomolies(PM, Mislabled cuts, non-uniform health). Thats not to say they suck. Ape provides a valuble service to a large portion of the community. But people need to deal with PNC with a portion of understanding. when dealing with numbers like this , things are going to happen. So, try to remember that when going there. I no longer shop there , but I am glad they are there.

APE is cool, the service he provides our area is invaluable. We are blessed to have a place like PNC here where we can get something different than what we have in the stable.
Huh??? How do the growers for the nurseries do it? Why do all these "Better boy" tomato clones come out the same from so many different nurseries and not just one shop? How does Monrovia do it? It can be done... Its called proper management... Everything you mentioned is controllable... Quality control is a major part of proper management... I have done thousands of clones at a warehouse and kept perfect control, because I kept things organized... It can be done... I know this for a fact

PNC is NOT a warehouse...He has done a great job of keeping his stock as clean as possible considering how much room he is working with. I think he should be a little tougher on people bringing cuts to him, I think that's where most of his pest problems come from...
Personally I think he needs more space or less stock where he is now...

[EDIT] I think your right. He should only need two clones, one to flower and one to mother, I'm not big on the vendor thing, untill more people stand behind there product... Brand names and stuff... Its hard to do and not make a trail the feds wont follow.... I still have fears...

This! It wouldn't be unreasonable to setup a system of quarantining new cuts and quarantining/treating old ones too. And you are right calcio, I remember hearing from a couple people here that he is given infected cuts often too. This is why I try and avoid clones all together; I don't trust anyone and can't afford to infest the garden. Peace of mind is worth the wait in regards to seeds IMO. Also, since he is in the clone business, has sold many infected clones himself and bought many, he should know what to expect and take the proper precautions/action. Expecting that your cuts are PM/mite free most of the time isn't unreasonable at all IMO. And just to clarify again, I respect and appreciate the service they do but there is certainly room for improvement too! No point in just giving up and not making progress when they could go from good to awesome.

I did not mean to sound like I was disagree with you Status quo. I was just pointing out that to others they are still a very valuable resource. I was probably high also. I've had my misfortunes with them too..... I guess I am just used to things being a little askew in this world and my acceptance level has risen as a result.....
