It isn't federally legal so no matter how you do it you wont be totally legal. Cali or CO would be good places to go though it is much harder than you would think.

move to a med state like cali. get ur card. everyone here grows. few grow extremely well. you can make a living but its gunna take some time and practice. If you can grow well, and youve got some money for capital you can have a nice consistently profitable setup in about 6 months.

what type of license would i need would i need to grow and sell weed . it cant be just that easy .just move to cali and grow . .
i wont to quit my job and everything and head out west get some land and a house and just sell . can a person do that and make a real living doing something they really love ?????

making a living from growing cannabis is EXTREMELY difficult. The price of cannabis here in ca is probably the lowest in the nation. I have seen people here have some difficulty off loading some of there crop.

Right now the best you can get is about 2k per lb or 200 an oz. Most that are making any real cash are the people in states that dont have med laws in place yet. There are many here that are taking there crop out of state. You need to do some serious research before you attempt this.

I know several cali growers who have stopped growing and got real jobs because they couldnt make a living from growing. you need a solid outlet. Opening a dispensary sounds good in theory but in reality its not as easy or a lucrative as you might think. you used the word sell when you were talking about offing your weed that shows me that you need to do more research. Go to the CANORML website its got all the legal info you need.

Try to find someone that is already established and pick there brain. If it was easy everyone would do it. I grow just for myself. Sometimes I have extra and I tried to take it to some of the dispensary's here but there is just so much they are setting the prices. I just do oz now and only to people I know.

honestly, you have no luck. most dispensary owners here have secret underground pipelines that keep them stocked. without that, you would need to rely on random people off the street. you will need to sell crappy outdoor for 50 an 8th to pay your rent, employees, and business fees.

and then theres the myriad of legal fees and shit you gotta pay.....

Bottom line is if you expect to make any sort of a living out of marijuana out here you either find your niche in processed goods, or you better be growing the best damn weed in town, otherwise your going to find yourself up shit creek.

and even if you have the best weed around, you still get low balled. Because theres so much other shit, they can go cop a lid of some crap for $75.

LOL, damn. I know getting 2k is shit compared to what it used to be, but seriously guys, telling people they can't make a living off of this is well. just LOL. I know people who make a living off of moving schwag. IF you can't make a nice 6 figure income off of 2k a #. Yeh I do suggest you try another profession.

The first step is getting a Elite strain that's not flooded and dialing it in. Second thing is have enough capital to run a decent sized OP twice in case of failure. I personally wouldn't budge for less than a 20k grow. Oh yeah and I wouldn't set my eyes Big on RDWC either until you can afford a few failed crops. That's a huge one IMO

You heard of the word overhead at all? You have any idea how much rent on a decent shop would be? You have any employees? Any advertising? What about fees, lawyer bills etc.
