Black Swan, just watched it this morning. Natalie Portman and that other hot girl from the "70's Show" make it veryyyy interesting :bump:

Pulp Fiction is another good one.

Social Network, Inception, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver.

Leaves of Grass was interesting. Edward Norton as twins. One, a repressed Ivy League professor. The other, a hydro growing, pot dealing Oakie. Some of the accents were over the top (Richard Dryfus in particular) but, enjoyable in the long run.

Watched that on my computer two weeks back, and you're right it was pretty good. I didn't really like the ending though, felt it was getting a little contrived but overall it was a good flick. And surprisingly they got most of the cannabis terminology and techniques right, so that was a bonus!

Another good flick to watch if you have time to burn is "The Wackness" with Ben Kingsley. If you grew up in the early to mid 90's you'll like that one for sure

With all the talk of "What is reality?" that we have had in the den lately,

How about Jacob's Ladder.

It will get ya thinking.

I agree with everything you said and loved The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest too

80% of Hollywood movies are garbage these days

Reminds me to also mention international publishing sensation Stieg Larsson’s
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/girl_with_the_dragon_tattoo/

" The Girl with Dragon Tatoo"

which is 1rst part of a trilogy & recently followed up by
2nd movie in the trilogy:

" The Girl Who Played with Fire"
