It's good to be back! Right after I harvested my last crop, we had a huge thunderstorm and rainwater leaked into my basement! It was a disaster! There's carpeting in the basement (where I grow) and I couldn't just leave it there to get moldy, so I had to take apart my whole grow room so I could get someone to fix the water damage. After the work was done I reassembled the under current and as I was filling it up, water started pouring out onto the floor, again another setback, there was a crack in the bucket, right where the uniseal meets the plastic, so I reassembled it scaling it down to a 10 plant system, setting the cracked bucket and its neighbor aside until the replacement bucket arrived, which was 10 days later, and at that point I had week old plants growing, 10 in the UC and 5 scattered around in random buckets... so for the last time I reassembled the UC system to once again accommodate 12 plants, and here I am shortly after all of that, writing my first entry of round two in the under current, starting at
day: 24
strain: bubblicious
pH: 5.6
ppm: 720

You control the height in each tub by controlling the height of the water in the reservoir. Each bucket pretty much will be the same level ass the res +/- a few because of uneven flow later on in flowering when tubs get filled.

What nutrients you using boss? You still using DM gold and add? What rates you miz the add.27 at and how do you avoid the pink film?

ss is right, all the buckets are about equal, they're all connected so if the water raises in one it disperses through the rest..

Yea I'm still using DM gold with add.27, but I only use the add at half strength, and im not sure what the pink film your talking about is.

Nice This looks alot like my Grow room. 3000w of HPS 12 Hydro plants, 2 rows of 6, in a room about 8ft x14ft. Currently Im running CO2 from a 20# tank and a regulator, 1200 gph pump that fills up my buckets in 6 mins and then all nutrients push back to a return bucket with a float switch and a 250gph pump inside that returns nutrients to the reservoir.

All designed and built by myself. :dance013:

Don't these situations just suck big time?! My heat went out last year right in the middle of a grow and I was dreading so much tearing down and having some stranger in my house that I took three days and figured out how to fix my furnace. It was cold but worth it. I'm glad the timing worked out for you and the disaster happened after harvest.

After the work was done I reassembled the under current and as I was filling it up, water started pouring out onto the floor, again another setback, there was a crack in the bucket, right where the uniseal meets the plastic,

This happened to me too. I did find that if your in a pinch, using Plastic Epoxy that comes in the double barrel syringe works great at fixing these cracks but you have to apply it while the uniseal and the pvc pipe are in the bucket, otherwise it might crack again when you reassemble or you won't have a perfectly circular hole and the uniseal will leak when you put it back in.

Great looking dog you got there. Good luck on the grow, everything is looking great! :canabis:

Day 18 Flower

Day 18 Flower

wuddup! so I ended up swithing to flowering on dec 23rd, which on my time makes this day 18 flowering, everything seems to be going smooth, my fan timer has a dim glow when it turns on, and i have it turning on 15 minutes every hour during night time, i hope that doesnt mess things up (?) I took care of the problem now, but still.... -.- anyways since these are fem seeds and not clones there is uneven growth everywhere, kinda annoying but w/e... looks like they could use some mag as well. anyways heres the pics!

Day: 18 (flowering)
pH: 5.8
ppm: 1050

I've been thinking about building this type of system but finding buckets that hold 10-12 gallons is a bitch. Your setup looks awesome but if you haven't done so yet, I would mount the ballast to the wall just incase you get a leak. I saw them on the floor in an earlier picture.

Day 30 Flower

its getting pretty chunky in there! the ph has been super stable at 5.8, ppms have been around 1100-1200, I took a pic of some of the good lookin' colas, I definitely wanna upgrade to the 13 gammon modules, the root balls are the size of basketballs and the water flow is so slow!
Day: 30 (flowering)
ph: 5.8
ppm:1100-1200
