Sorry fellas just had to vent.

Since last may all this bullshits been happening to me and I seriously have no clue why. I'm not a fucked up person and the hits just keep raining down on me. I'm seriously troubled by this as I'm the last person to deserve anything like this. I feel as if I've already lost a lot of things I felt were very dear to me yet the bills just keep coming in and piling up. This is nuts....I seriously just feel so emotionally exhausted after all this, I dot know what to do. I don't know when it will ever end.

- my dog of 6 years is diagnosed with cancer last may.
- took him to chemo and did everything I could including blowing my life savings to save him (over $30k)
- had an extremely optimistic prognosis yet I had to put him to sleep a few days after my bday last august because his doctor fucked up his chemo treatment and the cancer came out of remission and spread everywhere internally. Saddest shit ever.
- got 2 new puppies and they randomly came own with parvo and I had to put them to sleep that same week.
- was at a bar watching the world series when Some retard comes out jumping around celebrating and jumps on me breaking my ankle.
-was in so much pain I tried to get a cab home that night and couldn't because SF was so busy with people being in town for the WS.
- after 30 min Of hopping around on one leg trying to get a cab I decide to just drive home because the pain was unbearable
- on my way home I crash and get a DUI (i know it was stupid as shit)
-turns out my fucking online payment never went through and my car insurance lapsed 10 days and isn't going to cover me. I've never been uninsured in all my years of driving. Hell I still have car insurance and I'm not driving.
- I have no health insurance and had to have surgery to put a plate and seven screws in my ankle to make sure my bone heals properly.
I've been bedridden since then.
- the one thing that could have made it all better is the harvest of OG I've been waiting on.
- turns out the guy I bought my cuts online from fucked up and gave me a tray of some bullshit. So instead of harvesting some og I get some commercial BS. Looked like og all the way through but smells like hay. I know what I'm doing so it wasn't that it was cured wrong or anything.
- now I come to find out my dog of 10 years just tore her ligament and needs surgery this week that's going to cost about $4-5k

-FML Im broke now, thanks for reading.

You did the best you could to save that dog's life. That's something. It didn't work out but that's life no guarantees. What counts is that you made the effort to save that dog. Most people wouldn't go to the lengths you did. That makes you pretty exceptional if you ask me. Be proud of that.

I lost a dog to cancer too and it broke my heart.

She's a pit bull medium sized. My other dog was a pit as well and 6. So who really knows what the life expectancy is like? I'm a man and I take care of my responsibilities and she's my responsibility so I'm just gonna have to suck this up and keep trucking.

Thanks so much for the words of encouragement fellas, I'm not sure why but it helps to just get this shit out. I've been at home for close to 3 months in bed and am going crazy! If you knew me you'd know I would give my friends the shirt off my back. Hell I donated a good chunk of change for eddy lepp and his dear wife Linda to go to the cannabis cup back in 2006 and we all went out there together. Good times. I'm just saying I have no clue what the hell is going on With my life right now. Anyone else I know would have had a nervous breakdown by now. Thanks again.

sorry for your misfortune.. I am a dog lover to the max, but no way i would spend 30k on a dog thats just me though. as for the dog with the torn ligament let it heal on its own so she/he has a limp she will live right? because honestly that dog isnt going to pay his/her or your bills. That is just my take on the dog situation. I have a friend right now who is going thru something similar he is a nice upstanding & hard working dood. But he told me the other day he believes he created the shit happening to him, I have to say though things always happen for a reason, whether its just god's, alah, buddah or whatever your religion is its a way of testing us to see how we respond, if we have faith in who created us. Or you could just call it karma for those that are non believers. I guess.. But stay strong and if your religious ask for guidance and more strength, courage and wisdom. I always think that when the going gets tough especially financially people turn to illegal activities then end up getting caught and blaming again bad luck, I have seen it to many times with my criminal minded brother. So i think i speak from a lil experience.. Dont always think its just luck whether good or bad. I hope things get better for you. i am sending ya good vibes too... peace n pufs.

edit: i was thinking, A coupla years ago i went thru some tuff ass shit never talked to anybody about it, but kept thinking i was the only one with this so called luck, but then was told in a lecture from a close friend, there are many others going thru the same things, And many more going thru much worse. That made me change my perspective on my problems. Now i just smile and like joe dirt said keep on keeping on.. :D good luck..

damn that sucks about the world series night...that was one of the best nights of my life. yea man lifes throwing you some curve balls...you gotta hold your head up and get through em and when you do you will feel better.

i dont believe in fate i think certain things happen for a reason. for example....your OG harvest fucked up because you got cuts online. craigslist cuts suck dont trust them...also how long have you cured? all weed kinda smells like hay for the first week or so of curing, even my SFV OG kush. give it a solid 2-3 weeks and that lemon funk smell will dominante...cure them in jars and keep burping them every day or so.

the dog situation, man that sucks, i hate to think about that happening to my dog but if i heard my dog got cancer i would probably put him down cant have him living in pain. i hear you on the vet bills though, in the last month ive spent around 1500 on vet bills because my dog has a terrible skin infection and needs a ton of meds....

just keep on pushin man. start a new crop, if you want i can find some good OG cuts for you.

Bro I feel for you! My Dogs had both her cruciate ligaments rebuilt at a cost of $7000 NZ then she got a muniscal (sp?) tear not long after her second operation and had to go back in for another thousand dollar op. So I kinda know how you feel. Prayers go out to you my bro!

sorry to hear of your troubles NorCal, losing pets is tough & what I'm dealing with right now too as my little Kayla has had her cancer return.

you mention a lot of issues bro & if you let them manifest into a monster you cannot beat you'll be doomed, instead attack the issues as you have them laid out, one by one.

best of luck bro you'll be in my thoughts.......

First, I'm sincerely sorry about your dogs, especially. That's tough man.

However, I'll take another approach here. In the grand scheme of things, you sound like an incredibly lucky person. Of all things that could be due to pure luck in humanity, it seems you're in the top 5%, and then some. You can walk, I'm assuming? Eating well? Don't wake up with intense pain on a regular basis? You can take a shit without assistance? You're not living in Africa, or the streets of India? Conversely, I gather you live in one of the most expensive areas of the world, and by the sound of it, are not homeless. You are posting here, so you're obviously literate.

Therefore, you're an exceptionally lucky human being bro. An unbelievable amount of good shit is available to you for no reason that you've earned; just luck of the human draw.

Live it up. Smile. You've got it made.

Brother, you are right on the verge of a MAJOR win in life, wait and see.
Keep living right, and putting out good Karma, and it will come back to you.

You did everything Humanly possible for your dogs, what happened with them happened, and it's not your fault, nature is cruel like that sometimes.
You have to take some consolation in the fact that you provided the best possible life for them in the short time they had on earth.
I have a lot of respect for someone who is willing to go the extra mile for their dog like that.

Everyone in my family apart from me keeps or has kept dogs, they say they are like one of the family, but when the dogs reach old age and Vets bills start to mount up, they generally have them put down and get another one. (It makes me wonder how they would treat me as one of the family if I started to become dependant on them).

I think that if you take the approach with dogs that they are kept in good health for as long as possible regardless of cost then you will almost certainly be facing huge bills at some point. Dogs can take a long time to die and need a lot of expensive veterinary care along the way.

DUI, driving without insurance, getting injured whilst getting drunk, buying cuttings from an unreliable person - they're all down to you. I'm not condemning you for this or trying to preach, I've made the same or equally bad or worse decisions in my life. The important thing is that you learn through them and that involves acknowledging your responsibility in creating them. Otherwise you'll just keep on having "bad luck".
