Favorite Strains for Vaping

Recently made the transition from smoking to vaping - love it, btw - and have noticed some strains vape better than others. (Bubblegum and Strawberry Cough, ferinstance, seem made for vaping, while C99 - a strain I ordinarily love - is way too racey and paranoid out of a whip, unless I cut it with an indica).

Made me wonder if the rest of y'all have favorite strains/cuts you reserve only for vaping, as well as strains you avoid vaping at all costs. If so, fire away - I'm all ears.

I had saved 2 years of crystally bud leaves ..that I do not like to smoke...
When I got my herbal air I had spare vaping bud for a long time.

Have you tried white widow in the vap?
Great tasting buds I think are nice to reserve for smoking, and harsh buds saved for vap.

its odd how some strains vape better then others. i had some medical weed that vaped better then anything !!I closed my eyes, and got instant body wave sensations while tokeing.then other weed i had was less potent when vapeing...go figure

Tha trick is to make your valcano bag about 3 feet long! It doesnt matter what you are vaping then. By the end of the bag its all a dreamy blur anyways! Add a little hash or kief and...well lets just say it makes for lazy Sundays. If you like the smoke, the vape will only increase that enjoyment from what I have experienced. This morning.

ECSD is pretty much on its own level so far as vaping goes in my opinion, and I say this having put it up against most of the elite cuts out there.

When grown properly, it has one of the most diverse mixes of aromatic & flavor terpenes, all of which can be detected as you get used to vaping it.

The complex flavor is something that jumps to mind every time I have a vape sesh of it.

Some strains/cuts I find work the opposite way. Bubblegum for example has a beautiful grape smell with incense undertones, and leaves an amazing fruity grape aftertaste when combusted. When vaped though, I find the flavor skews hard toward the incense, and is much less tasty to me.

I think a lot of this comes down to personal preference and experimentation to drill that down. If a strain loses too much body, one may want to vape it at a higher temperature, for example.

bags taste ok. but for the pure undiluted taste nothing beats a fresh pull on the whip.

c99 is by far my favorite taste I've grown. I love it. the tweaked out buzz isn't for everyone though

to be honest i loved some orange bud vaped... made it even sort of heady high compared to smoking and the orange taste mmmmm
