Not available commerically, but I could build as many as you want. Only depends on number of pumps and if you want to incorporate solenoid valves, flood sensors, rez temp sensors, etc. If you wanted to simultaneously run several pumps, a 30A/240 plug can be added. I would also add a GFCI receptacle for each pump.

PM sent! Thanks

Seriously, nice electrical!

Coming along nicely DMT, and looking great... very much interested in seeing it full bore.

so the first pic is the 2 inch line going up to the buckest via the lil giant on the other side(obviously lol...)

an in wall vacuum drain will be spaced every 10 feet or so so vacs can be attached and be done with, instead of using a sink or manually dumping outside/garbage. 95% of all vac ing is from water./solutioin/spills

this is a 400 amp fed pine sub panel, and the next pic is the sub sub panel of 150 amps for 1 50 light bloom room

this is the contactor for the high heat kill switch.

this big room will be 3/4 bloom stage and 1/4 work/luch space

last pic is the hall seperating the 2 meispheres of the project, d

Seeing this much power run sooo clean gives me a hard on. So the contactor cuts power to the whole panel and the breakers are just shut off's for the ballast I am guessing....

And am i reading this right you have an inwall vaccum system this keeps getting better and better.

Is this really how it goes in Canada!!!! Think this canuck may be coming home EH!

ya, the contactor kills the power in the event of a/c failure

and yes the breakes control each bulb or 2 sometimes.

im stoked on the vacuum in the wall too, so simple.

this is how it goes with the kcc amigo, d

il start off slow and not get ahead of myself:

veg room: 60 lights all metal halide.

first stage - rooted clones - 2 kw - 60 plants

second stage - preveged rooted clones - 4 kw - 60 plants

3rd stage - 12 kw - 50 plants

4th stage - 18 kw - 50 plants

5th stage - 24 kw - 50 trees for flower

each stage they spend 2-3 weeks subject to strain and cycle times

the last pic is 1 of the 6 bloom rooms, d

laying out the first stationary buckets for the 3rd faze. faze 1-2 are drip, the rest of the production site will be flood and drain. 100% hydro.

gona have 6 strains 1 per each room: bubble haze, pain killer, karma jack, starburst (kerosene kush cut), west coast sour diesel, med-mans headband.. to start. always more beans being popped and test grown for keepers.

rooted clones go into 5 gallon buckets for 1-3 weeks to get feet, then under double the light for 1-3 weeks, those are the first 2 stages in open buckets with drippers. they are in a trough that drains downstairs, you can see the slopes/troughs in the pics.

after the first 2 stages, they go into stationary flood drain buckets, connected. so there is a 1 bucket drip to start, then they go into flood drain buckets when ready, savey?

like this:2 sections with spaghetti drippers, then moved into flood and drain buckets

the flood buckts diy style
so this is the first wave of buckets as promised:

first 4 pics are the 50 buckets for the 3rd week of veg

pic 2 an cross section of pvc was needed to fill all the buckest evenly. the dry run filled 1 have faster without it

pic1 a half filled bucket. with 1 inch pvc to 2 inch takes 5 minute to fill.

pic 3 is the drain vent and f/d line

pic 4, all 50, plus a b52 jug converted to an overflow valve(far end)

the middle pic is the dripper system for the just rooted babies. completely detachable for movabilty. the manafold will be relocated to the wall not the aisle as this prototype is.

the last 2 pics are the shades and there machanisms/ close up of coded wiring, the sdes were donated, i prefer adjustawings or bell lr1ooo for top lighting.

the shades pic(1st pic) shows how the shades are fixed to bullhorns on the far wall and with in hands reach. this is the clients handy work, and is very effective. you can see in the next pic how the nylon rope and a pully make up the machanism, brilliant lol

all the buckest, exept for the first 2 waves will be covered with panda poly, real white out style, d

ps its funny, the whole system sounds like a big toilet flushing when the flood cycle ends and gravity and air send the solution back to the rez below. the plumbers are very impressed with themselves and the new system. they are used to setting up drip systems. you can walk on all the components, they are rated for it. theres a nice walk way between the mainline and the bucket adjacent to it on the next row. even still nice to now the guts can take a licking in any battle.

The Veg Rez
their plan was to have 2 400 gal rezs for the vg room. ive already cut 1/2 the work, cost and future maintainance fees.

in the first pic, the new lil giant will supply the 2 inchmainline to upstairs where te buckestr are.

this smaller one in hand will supply the first 2 waves of babies with the drippers.

the inch pvc with the blue valve is for the mixer pump. its best to put the outside the rez and send the water back into the top, for optimal mixing and aeration.

gona need a 3 step to mix these rezes as they all will be 400 gallons.

this one will be feeding all 5 waves of plants.

CO2 Question #1:
In a sealed room with a/c pumping in (3 ton unit on roof of building), it seems that there would be an awful lot of positive pressure being created. Therefore, if it weren't completely sealed (which i imagine would be quite difficult), wouldn't scent and co2 leak out of the room? How is this positive pressure accounted for??

Thanks for your help !

the room is not sealed hermetically, and there is no positive pressure.

just air being cooled and recirculated. only freon comes in from outside. co2 and smell can be contained if all cracks and joints are sealed. although odor can and does permeate things over time no matter what, the co2 doesnt. i put fans on the floor facing up so cool co2 enriched air gets used up, d

Still trying to get a coherent grasp on such a massive Hydroton set-up...tho always have known rocks to be in theory & practice one of the great mediums but "waves of 5gals " in this large a grow ...is a lil' mind bending . For later cleaning/rinsing the rocks could almost have to envision some kind of industrial vibrating hopper or tumbler to clean media after each round ...& drain . A giant deburring tumbler or washing machine idea or cement mixer type on a much larger scale .

How do u clean all the media dmt ? Guess u have no shortage of volunteers, strong
young canadians to help out ? ;)

* BTW , did catch Facebook page for u guys & did a design similar once to that E&F table set-up with 6" net pots . Looking forward to things getting in full swing , thanks for the show !

Well that's def one solution ...doh !

The spent Hydroton becomes a biz expense but at same time gets continued usage in the field . I still could envision some kind of ramp system from the upstairs to vacate spent media into waiting truck below . Amazes how much soils/ medias gets dumped (at the dumps) from grows just in our area in the wine country which could/ should be used in gardens .

So there wont be any veggie or baby lettuce shortages in your area
then at the local farmer's market ! lol ...will u be doing some open gardens
or will you guys put in some GH's later on ?
Some of the local Restaurants would love u guys ..

will let ya be & check back later ... know u hav hands full but
admirable full life you'll have working this show . Built yourself some
cool digs onsite/inside to hang out in with full kitchen/dining/relax
sleep arangements too ?

best regards

Very smart idea, my gardens are clay loam and I always till in the used perlite and hydroton and plant roots, I also fertilize with the spent rez's by spreading the nute mixture on the snow in the winter and between rows during the summer. That and lots of straw compost from the chicken shed. How many acres is your garden? that's going to be a lot of pebbles after a couple of runs..lucky the rototiller smashes em up pretty well.
looking forward to more pictures
