In search of potent strains...

Hi all. I'm a long time heavy smoker with a very high tolerance and I'm in search of a very potent mind-bending high.. Something very trippy & euphoric. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

trippy and euphoric? you may want to do some research on landraces, or purer sativas. I had some Malawi Gold this one time that totally fit what you are looking for, her only downfall? over 100 days, but I think thats half the battle as you will never get results like that from any 50-70 day strain imo, though some of them like the AKs' and the White family come close for being much shorter.

My humble experience is that high tolerance just kills the euphoric effect. Besides, the most euphoric weed is usually not very strong, so you need to lower your tolerance to get satisfied. The good thing is that by smoking only the "good" weed for a week or 2, tolerance will go away and you won't need "very potent" stuff.
Nevile's Haze is a good suggestion.
If you want "potent" high, stay away from "potent" weed (read, indicas), it's potent only the first few times. The "very potent mind-bending high" belongs elsewhere

Buy a pack of haze or other long flowering sativa then single out the 20 week flowering phenos and go full term.

u need lots of seeds with haze genes in them. most sativa strains are haze hybrids (km, jh, ssh, etc). plus I'd try some african like congo and durban. may be some thai and hawaiian packs. grow them and u'll find what u're looking for

proven haze hybrids have always done me in the right way. jack, ssh, mango haze, johnny blaze, nl5#haze, you name it!

or go through a few packs of tom hills pure haze and mate your keeper (maybe she'll do you already!) girl with your favourite euphoric indica line and go grom there!

I agree with the sativa part but I have never had a Haze that actually worked on me... I have had many Hazes so I'm not too sure about the Haze.. lol peace out Headband707

yeah I havent gotten the stereotypical racy energetic high I see described most often when talking about hazes.

I have gotten some super potent, trippy long lasting highs tho.
Mr Nice Nevilles haze mango is some of the strongest herb I have ever smoked and its too strong for even some seasoned vets. My 20 week Mr Nice SSH was some strong herb aswell, gives an expansive feeling in the head but has kind of a stoney high, very potent tho, 2 peeps have a hard time finishing joint. I know you can find some really potent haze highs with a much shorter flowering time in the SSH line.

The next breed Im going to try looking for the ultimate high is a nice long ass flowering thai. I would really like to try a few more ACE offerings in 2011.

wow 20weeks... we have an old 15seed pack of mr nices ssh, and popped about half... we got 5 females, all were 75/80 (plus/minus) days, and not all that impressive.... i'd luv to find a 20week strain..

i too mite try one of ace's thail/laos offerings

Thanks for the thread. I've embarked on the same quest as you and settled on several strains to be grown this coming outdoor season in the deep south. The ones in that I'm most looking forward to are a homespun Casey Jones x SSH along with Golden Tiger from ACE (malawi gold x meao thai). I hope these pack the same punch you're looking for.
