LOL. You guys and gals sure are suckers for a story.

In the 2 minutes I saw this guy on TV he showed how he sniffed his first line of coke, and then explained how he moved on to crack next.

You seen this guy's teeth?

Anyone wanna make bets on how long before that first paycheck gets cracked up?

Of course he's gonna take a job and a home. What crackhead is gonna turn down free money and a place to stay?

Its like letting Michael Vick come back to play in the NFL after murdering dogs, or buying Michael Jackson's newest CD even after he molested numerous kids.

23 years ago I was a heroin addict and there were people just like you that said I would never make it. Now I just love tell them I'm 23 years clean and introduce them to my wife of 21 years and my 4 kids and show them around my 3300sqft house..... and laugh!

you talk about his teeth? grow up son!

Huge prop's Big-D on 23 years clean.

I am sure they'll have those teeth fixed in no time, he did take good care of them. I was surprised at how well he could speak and carry himself. :D

What a great story!

We all need to be "discovered" in our own way.

I saw it on the news a couple of days ago. It was heart-breaking to see his 90 year old mother learn of his predicament. Glad things turned around for him. Just imagine how many people like him are out in the streets today? The numbers have never been so huge since the Great Depression.

Im not saying people dont deserve a chance but as the founder of a struggling childrens charity, I'm not in the least impressed with Krafts decision to spend money supporting this one guy, who it seems flushed his own life down the toilet...they clearly only care about getting some feel good advertising... it's some proper socio-political bollocks..

nah don't get me wrong, I've nothing against Ted per se.

I'm saying there are better ways to spend 100's of 1000's of dollars if helping people is the aim... but it's not, the aim is to create a media circus with poor Ted starring as Monkey Boy ...

I also hope it works out for him, I didnt mean to imply otherwise ;)
