I use the green hydrofarms for wet trim and the blue hooked ones for dry trim. i used both silver and gold tipped fiskers for years, but the hydro farms are much smoother. also the curve on the blue ones really helps you work your way around the buds.

^great tip! I am going to try that asap. My hands and wrists get ridiculously sore after trimming for hours on end with my fiskars (on the verge of carpal tunnel syndrome). They are the best tho. Lately I have been just ripping and tearing most of the leaves off with my hands and then doing slight clean up with the fiskars. Next investment is definitley a trim reaper or trimpro rotor tho.

I needed a pair of pruners/trimmers awile back .I saw these in cutty's avatar.I gaurentee you will not be disapointed if you buy a pair.Their the lightest most comfortable trimming scissors i have used .The fiskars soft touch..Home depot sells em...

i buy them by the box....

fiskars are great, but the wear and tear on my wifes and my wrists were a little too much.. i was dreading harvest time rather than being anxious..

so i splurged on a pro cut fast. i got it used still under warrenty for 700$.. im anxious for harvest once again... ill let yous know how it turns out..

joe fresh has a nice video up of the trimmer in action, i bought the same one..

I saw a post on ICMAG where someone tested one of those compared to hand trimming. They took Macro shots of the buds. You could see all the trichomes damaged. I immediately was turned off on these types of trimmers.

i dont doubt it... but when you got a more than a couple # on the way and dont want to spend 12 hours a day for 3 weeks doing the damn harvest...

whats worth trimming by hand ill do

but the small popcorn buds will all definetly be taking a beating by the trimmer :) "let that be a lesson to you's. grow bigger next time..."

This is my favorite trimmer, hair cutting scissors... My harvests haven't been big enough to need any type of power trimmer, maybe I would change my mind if I was trimmin elbows.....
