I was just reading that the Eu court has ruled that The Netherlands can ban non-residents from coffeeshops.This is not good .I don't think Amsterdam will go for something like this but you never know.If it does happen ,I hope it is after 420 anyway.http://www.dutchnews.nl/news/archives/2010/12/eu_court_clears_the_way_for_to.php

I hope not AmishFarmer. I'm really looking forward to going this year. The prices keep going down every time I look. 2 people = 2900-4000. 6500,probably more if you wanna get really fancy.

Sound slike peeps are getting ready to make up for the fact things were all messed up by the volcano last year. Was still agood cup so this should be a great one! Got a crop coming down in a month and one just going into flower so I should def atleast have something for the indica cup this year, keeping enough to enter the sativa cup is gonna take alot of will power though! Looking forward to catching you all there

I have a bet going with a local Icer whomever sells less seeds by the end of next year has to host a cup in Prague... I believe it is now official.

Edit...I realized last night I give all my seeds away and so I must appeal to dear co conspirator that we find a way to work as a team.... muhehe... i know youre loving the situation I have gotten myself into... though theres a back up plan...

The passes go on sale on seedbay, about 2 weeks prior to the event..

If you are young (20's) and sweating the costs, try the Flying Pig hostel. They are kinda cheap, noisy, and have a killer smoking room that always has a few bodies in it come morning.
My daughter and her boyfriend stayed there and loved it. Wife and I stayed in more traditional accommodation.
Definitely not for the over 30.

Passes should be going on sale on Seedbay a minimum of one month prior to the event....this will give adequate time for submitting payment to SB...and if all possible will get the passes up in mid Feb.
I'll do my best to keep you all updated!
A couple of things to catch my eye....someone posted about appearance points being a disadvantage to those who must rely upon shipping from a distance away...and I concur. This past cup, I was a judge for the 'grower' category, and could not bring myself to take off points because of the various shipping methods used in order to submit the entry...so I did not let appearance sway my vote. This is a very valid point....I've seen buds from locations around the globe that frankly looked rather awful, but had a ripping high and nice taste...so let's do away with the appearance points.
Am contemplating an Auto Flowering category this year....any yeahs or nays?

I too am excited to be going! I've got entries for both the breeders and growers cups, and I mostly cannot wait to meet all you cool people that will be there
P.S. I like the idea of adding the auto category, as those sometimes can't (adequately) fit into the other categories. Expanding the categories only expands the possibilities for entrants to compete, and isnt that the whole idea of a competition:
