The one thing everyone seems to be overlooking in this is the plain fact that the actual truth has been lost in all the hyperbole. Joe Pietri made a lot of allegations and having talked to him in person, he makes a lot more about other people, he has something bad to say about almost everyone in this business. However, this doesn't mean that there is no basis of fact in all of what Joe alleges.

Hopefully someone will set the record straight in the near future, right now we have a load of bile from Joe's side and very little in response. There are a lot of unanswered things that were brought to attention and should be answered.

Good point but rather then others having to come forward and defend themselves against someone already proven to throw around false accusations. The person having made the false accusations should be held accountable for his statements and be forced to support them with evidence and if he can't he should STFU.

Joe Peitri seems to be a angry, jealous, attention seeking man. A lot of conclusions can be drawn from someone that has nothing good to say about anyone.... It can also be noted people will sometimes accuse people of actions they themselves have committed.....

In this case, I think it may be best to let Joe fade away into the angry abyss he has created. Karma will come around to visit him soon enough.... I think most people see Petrie for what he is. And he owes Sam more than he could ever repay him.....

As for Marco, I'm unsure what to make of this apology. Marco was very defensive in backing Joe Petrie when this happened. Even on this site. Much more so than was necessary or what a publisher without an interest in this would have.

Ultimately it's Sam's decision on how he chooses to handle this. But I'm with Chimera regarding it only being a start. It was printed in Marco's mag and I think any apologies/retractions should also be done in the mag. Along with a true version of why Joe Petirie held so much weight as to make Marco print the vomit in the first place.....

The worst part about rumors and conspiracy theories printed on the internet is that they're nearly impossible to retract. Just google Joe Pietri and Skunkman. The article was published on every pot forum and used as source for all type of wild theories about the DEA, Monsanto and the Dutch industry.

oh yeah, if he is sincere he might also consider taking down the free pdf download of that edition that is still up on the ty website.
