How well and how consistent is this product for growing the headstash? I've always used guanos, and am looking for something a bit more consistency. Sometimes i get huge chronic nuggets, and others small but chronic nuggets. I want them to be huge EVERY time! Let me know please! THank YOu! stay HIGH

For what it's worth, it's what BOG recommended in his book and on OG back in the day. And we've all his work right?

BOG grew the best Bubblegum crosses on the planet. His pics were so sugary they gave me wet dreams!

Also, don't forget about the Big Bloom from Foxfarm, and their new root stimulator (Kangaroots)

I ve been using PBP for many years .... switched from full on organic teas (pita to make) .... to Botonicares products & love um to death :) ... also very consistant ph w/the PBP...best of luck

Please list your PBP formulas!

In the past I had strange cal/mag issues from the often used 15ml PBP Soil Bloom +5ml Cal Mag Plus. I'm convinced that the cal/mag plus goes bad if it gets old. I could never go any higher than 15ml Bloom and 7.5ml cal mag without getting nute burn.

I got much healthier plants by using 25% Tap Water, 75% RO, 12.5ml Soil Bloom, 5ml cal mag plus, and 1/4 tsp epsom salt. This fomula was the key. The plants loved the extra Mg and the Tap added the extra calcium and buffer!

Cal/Mag changed the formula- check this out from another forum:

Botanicare's new-ish Cal Mag Plus (2-0-0 NPK) with chelated iron in it SUX for TLO growing due to the fact that the iron is chelated with EDTA:

Quote
EDTA is mainly synthesised from ethylenediamine (1,2-diaminoethane), formaldehyde (methanal), and sodium cyanide.[3]

Quote
Greman et al.17 found strong inhibitory effects of EDTA over plants such as: necrotic lesions on leaves of Chinese cabbage, absence of development of arbuscular mycorrhizae in Red clover plants, and stress on soil microfauna, being soil fungi the most affected community.

These are those fucking synthetic chelating salts that harsh up your smoke amigos and kill your microlife in soilmix; Botanicare has a straight up Calcium liquid fert called Calplex that is all natural and good if you need it and I hear GHYdroponics also has a good all natural Ca Mg liquid as well with no EDTA crap.

The EDTA doesn't decompose or break down easily at all and becomes systemic and so you smoke it; take another look at that quote regarding what it is synthesized from...mmmmmm.....stoney! LoL

just started using pure blend pro grow and loving it. unhappy with previous nutrient choices, but pure blend pro seems to rock, pretty well rounded 1 part organic/natural nute. i also am using calmag+ from botanicare. probably will try sweet during flower as well.

i love pbp compared to floranova had way nicer buds from same strains/setup :) but only thing i do wish is that the pbp is more concentrated so you get more out of a bottle.....same with the liquid karma

how does the pbp bloom compare to their Power Series of products. mostly Flower Power?

i use pbp soil grow, but i havent really seen anything improve over using fish emulsion and seaweed extract. growing aint my problem, budding w/o big colas is my problem. (well, one of the many).

PBP grow is the shit when it comes to ferts for MJ. For the longest time I thought I was burning my plants due to too much PBP grow added, I was getting yellowing and dead leaves. I fed at slightly higher than the bottle recommended dose and the plants jumped back to life, becoming dark green until they started looking waxy and shiny. This product couldn't be more recommended. It has fulvic and humic acids already added and it makes a noticeable difference in the growth of the plant. I use PBP grow for veg and bloom as I have noticed that when using bloom I get yellowing and in my opinion the longer the plant is dark-waxy green healthy the higher the chances of getting rock solid buds with great taste. Good choice of ferts dude.

a oxygen rich soil meaning a very light medium and low nitrogen are the key to huge blooms, try upping you peat or perlite and maybe get some air pots, try a few differnat bloom formulas n see what u get. i run enriched soil, when the leaves yellow i ad just a touch of nitrogen and then for the last 6 weeks of bloom just micro bloom flora series from general hydroponics n get fat ass buds. i think its largely your light n aireation factor in your medium plus genetics, any nutes can be dialed in just about, its grower know how.

dont forget the air u breath is 4/5ths nitrogen, let them roots breath!!!!
