lower leaf damage to some plants, progresses from bottom up

Hey, just wanted to post these up for any suggestions. I have 2 guesses for the lower leaf damage, either it's a lack of nutes and feeding uopn itself,

(was just upcanned to 2 gal from beercup, the new promix was wet with H2O only, so no nutes until that 1st watering dried out a bit. (3 days) They just got a good dose tonite.

Or, is it tmv? 3 plants in the space are affected, 2 are not. Same conditions for all. Affects lower leaves only.

Under approx 300W of CFL, 16/8, straight promix with higrow A+B grow nutes. PH is good, mid 6's, lights on - 23-25C, lights off 16-18C. Humidity low, 20-30%.

they are just beginning to show, and both fems I have ID'd so far are affected.

I could not find the chart, is it still used? here's the pix...

Edit: 1st pic groupshot, 2 fems are on the left. 2nd pic unaffected plant. 3rd pic, early damage. 4th, affected plant, 5th, damage has progressed.

Thanx for any suggestions... :rasta:

Peace

It's definitely not TMV.

That looks like a Mg deficiency. Over time I began to notice that calmag and proper pH really do fix most problems.

I don't know anything about your nutes or what water you use though, and what's your pH?

I had this problem with FFOF. I never did solve it. I tried to manage pH, and did flush. Didn't have access to lime at the time.

i hear of more people all the time who have trouble with that soil im betting its from a salt issue with the ocean floor + nutes causing lock out i dont know for sure i never use the brand

Thanx for the replies, it was more curiosity than worry that drove this post.

!!! - I thought mag def was yellowing between the veins... But I did expect some deficiencies (multiple) from using just h20 instead of nute mix on the new promix, and thus they had nothing to eat for 4 days following upcan. Maybe the 3 affected are "hungrier" than the other 2...

Last year's were on the exact same schedule, and were happy as a clam (c99, AK). We'll see how they go now that they're getting fed again. promix BX is buffered with both dolomitic and calcitic limes.

I'm sure they'll be fine... :rasta:

Those leaves look very fimiliar as well as the pattern of your problem. I also thought it may had been PH or nute problems, as I hadn't had this issue until the temps got colder. Use a scope to check to see if you have a mold issue. My problem seemed to spread to a different plant and sure as shit, I found spores at the bottom of the dying leaves. I'm going to try a hydrogen peroxide solution and raise the temps in my room for a few days to see if this takes care of the problem. Good luck!

No TMV so thats good, my vote is acidic soil shocking the ph a bit plus they have not had a chance to use the nutes you applied yet. Should be good just dont over water them, add some cal/mag and feed constantly with pro-mix. Measure your runoff ph for definitive #'s. NS

It was lack of food, causing cannabilizing of the lower leaves. Once I began watering with nute mix again after 4 days of drying out after the upcan, all was well. They went into 12/12 today.

Here they are... (the 3 females anyhow, 2 males destroyed)

Thanx again guys... :rasta:
