Indian Genes?

Where can one go about getting some Landrace genes from India? I miss my genetics and it feels a part of my heritage is gone without them. Can anyone point me in the right direction that would be very helpful?

I wish I could of brought some with me to America but that was not an option.

I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to get pure landrace genetics, but Mandala uses Indian landraces in several of their crosses, like the Mandala #1, Hashberry, 8-Miles High, and Sadhu.

It might be interesting to try their Safari Mix, as it contains genetics from their breeder stock. Perhaps something in there could bring back that heritage feeling?

Hopefully others will chime in, I'd be curious about pure Indian landrace genetics as well.

so 50% indian. i saw one grow of it and it looked pretty good , you could re-search it..

The broadleaf types stock are not from India (eg Mazar is N.Afghan), but I think some of the N.Indian/Nepal strains have medium leaves (not as thin as Thai etc)

I will have some of what your smoking! I checked the Cannabiogen site and didn't see any Mazar or Lebanese.

Ehm, i recon u must go waaaaay north in india to find any indicas.
All i ever seen is crazy sativas.
Got south indian sativa beans i brought home from there.
Take forever to flower and the buzz is like speed. You could run a marathon on it.

There are broadleaf indica varieties all along the Pakistan border, also some up by Nepal. I've always like the mellow calming effect buzz over the speed type buzz, therefore I'm interested in these broadleafs I speak about from the northern parts of India.

Tom Hills - X18 is a Pakstani variety and has good reports. - Parvati is said to have high CBD for a laid back stone.

Myself, I'm super interested in some south Indian genes, Kerala for example. Anybody got any pointers? Really I'm hoping The Real Seed co does a little pilgrimage to southern India!

I have Parvati which I believe is sort of sativa but apparently gives a mellow stone.

Seems like a lot of strains have Indian in them considering that general region and others in Asia is where cannabis is believed to have originated.

Armageddon (x4 Indian sativa x Skunk) is the closest commercial seedbank stock I can think of with mainly Indian genetics. She grows really nice,, with hollow stems, suitable for Coco, Soil, NFT, nice to grow to clone.
