New half vert setup. What do you think? any problems?

I'm in the process of a new setup. Total wattage will be 4600watts.

There is a BARE 1000watt hps bulb which will hang down from the middle.
in front and behind this bare 1000watt bulb will be 2 x 600w HPS stacked on eacher (4 in total).

The left and right side of the room will each have a light boost from overhead with a 600HPS with reflector facing them respectively.

Anyone see any problems with this? i'm planning on 8 medium/large plants.

In fact i'm setting up the room as we speak, and the grow will start end of this week.
I'm hoping it'd be like a stadium but i'll have to try to TRAIN the plants instead of having heaps of plants.

I am starting just a 2K vertical / stadium grow. I was wondering what your room dimensions are?

I like your overall strategy, I just don't have that many lights myself.

Looks interesting. I'd rethink the two 600's on the ceiling. If your scale is correct then there aren't going to be any plants directly below them and unless your hoods have a very, very wide foot print they won't contribute nearly as much as you might think.

Out of curiousity, are you opposed to doing rows instead of the half circle?

They'll be angled. The reason why i have 8 plants trying to reduce root count and growing them BIG will fill the sides.
If i could have my way i'd definitely have about 20-30 plants in there and do a proper stadium.

The scale is a rough idea only.

The 2x 600s will be above the canopy, so they're not directly on the ceiling if you know what i mean.
The room is 12 ft x 13ft. The ceiling is 10 foot high so i can hang things overhead. The plants i'm hoping they'll grow with pot just under 2 metres.

I feel you on the low plant count. I can't say this wont work well, but i know the rows worked beyond good. for me. You could use half the light or at least cut the 600's out and do 2 rows on each side with 2 plants.


not trying to discourage your idea at all, but you're going to have to hit huge numbers with 8 plants to hit a gpw.
