what size pot do i need?

hey guys

my season is from june1st-end of sep/early oct. how long should i preveg my cuttings indoors and what size container to transplant from to properly use up a 20gallon container ?

i.e. 3 weeks preveg, go from 1 gallon inside to 20 gallon outside. (just an example) 20 gal is the size ive settled with, possibly 15 if its too big. goin for .5lb per plant

im willing to scale preveg time to container size. container size is the factor i have to adapt to.

Man there are guys are on here that grow in 200 gallon containers, but I think that is insane. I think you would be totally safe with a 10 gallon container.

I've never worked with cuttings, but from seed the longest you would want to keep them indoors is one month. I've heard that any longer than that is pointless cause the plants get so used to the indoor light that they have a hard time adjusting to the sun.

there is are a lot of factors, but if your doing things right you should be able to get 1 ounce of dried bud per gallon of soil used. thats why you see people use 200 gallon pots. in general the bigger your pot is the better your yield will be. with that siad a 10 gallon pot will work but a 50 gallon pot would be better.
