On the Effectiveness of Aluminium Foil Helmets

Abstract
Among a fringe community of paranoids, aluminum helmets serve as the protective measure of choice against invasive radio signals. We investigate the efficacy of three aluminum helmet designs on a sample group of four individuals. Using a $250,000 network analyser, we find that although on average all helmets attenuate invasive radio frequencies in either directions (either emanating from an outside source, or emanating from the cranium of the subject), certain frequencies are in fact greatly amplified. These amplified frequencies coincide with radio bands reserved for government use according to the Federal Communication Commission (FCC). Statistical evidence suggests the use of helmets may in fact enhance the government's invasive abilities. We speculate that the government may in fact have started the helmet craze for this reason.

I don't trust those MIT brainiacs one bit.
Everyone knows proper tin foil helmet testing is done like this.

I'll reserve judgment until Genkisan and ddrew chime in - 2 of the REAL experts on foil beanies.

Ok, lets see, where to start.

First lets talk foil, most of your amateurs go for Reynolds, classic rookie mistake, lets in all kinds of waves.

Foildog recommends Handi-Foil(see pic)
Not only will it block the government radio waves, it also provides excellent protection against alien mind control beams, as well as stopping your neighbors from reading your mind.

Second, how to correctly make your protective foil helmut.
Foildog recommends shiny side out, minimum of 4 layers thick, with two receptors for catching waves, and filtering them safely away from your brain, and out the sides of the helmut(see pic)

Third, when to wear.
Foildog recommends 24/7, because you never know when someone is pointing some kind of invisible ray at you.

Don't fall for it! It's all a ruse to get you to take the foil off.
All I want for Christmas is a good ol' fashioned mind rapin' from the FCC.

Interesting that Reynolds Aluminum headquarters are just miles away from CIA Headquarters.

I learned a very valuable lesson from this dude's workshop.

The perfect tin foil helmet has 3 layers.
The inner and outer layer are tin foil, the layer between a non-conductive material like PE foil or paper.
Fold the helmet in a pyramid shape.
Connect a 9V battery to the inner (+) and outer (-) tin foil layers.
You then have established an electro-static field that not only deflects any government/alien psychotronic mind
control rays but also, due to it's pyramid shape, triples your brain power.

As a nice side effect, on digital photographs, you'll look as if you're 'wielding' a halo.

It requires no stretch of the imagination to conclude that the current helmet craze is likely to have been propagated by the Government, possibly with the involvement of the FCC. We hope this report will encourage the paranoid community to develop improved helmet designs to avoid falling prey to these shortcomings.
Heh :)
