why are you using the homemade aero instead of the prebuilt one? The plants look great and can you tell how you got those damn nozzles in the pvc, I always have a damn time with those things.

mine costed me maybe 50 bucks to make its bigger and i use it to veg also i just put airstones in the res just drill the holes and push and turn as hard as you can its a pain in the butt

Thread the holes, the tool is only like $5, well worth it if you like having feeling in your fingertips:) Any new updates? What wattage are you using? Nutes?

in my old room was usally around 4 a plant this time i think it is gonna be much more so many more bud sites this time. i like you took off a bunch of fan leaves this is my first time trying it since things were so tight and rly didt mean to let them get that big. the stalk rly not sure but the roots are just massive i use 1min on 4 min off timer just went to aggresive neuts so will keep you updated should be intresting i love trying new things was thinking maybe take off a few more fan leaves but rly dont want to stress them out

Well everything looks very nice! I have a friend who has run my same tube system pull up to a pound a plant. Usual weighgt was around a 1/2 pound. I too have noticed if you veg too long they grow way out of control. They grow much faster than in soil. I also agree that you should be careful removing too many fan leave really far into flower but i have found that removing some here and there is ok. Yoou want to make sure that you keep getting all the ligght you can to all your budsites so they keep getting huge.
Cantwait for more pics

Wowie kazowie! Great stuff dude. I just built a micro LP aero for 2 plants to be srcogged under a 150w MH/HPS. It's a baby compared to yours:)

i am starting a grow using a very very similar diy aero tub. my question is this- what gph is your pump? ive read that you want a very high gph to make a very fine mist, how ever my veg bucket uses only a 290gph pump with two mist heads, its not really a mist, just a spray really, is this ok?

also, i see Ursus asked about how to get the nozzels in the pvc... heres what i did.
i drilled a pilot hole slightly smaller than the nozzel end, and took a number 10 wood screw to thread and widen the hole. the thread right in. sometimes they dont always lock, but continue to rotate, this is fine as little to no water leaks.

I just use a 285 gph with 6 EZ Cloner misters and one spinner in the middle of the "H" manifold. The 3" net pots are in between them all, with the spinner between them. TAG or True Aeroponic Growing uses high pressure pumps and misters in order to get the droplets to be ~50 microns, and they only feed for like three seconds every 4 min.. This is probably what I'll end up doing once I have the dough, as it's kinda spendy. The results seem pretty good though. But for the $35 worth of spare parts I had laying around, LP is good enough for now:)

ive hard a rough time finding any useful info on low presure aero... im sure its not optimal, but it should grow pretty thick trees right? right now i have a 5 spot clone bucket i made a 2 sprayer manifold for that im useing untill i can determine sex. i picked up a 400gph pump for the tub version, and will use 10 spray heads. after i weed out males (as i had to germ up a whole new batch this round) i will finish my tub version that will be where i finish veg and flower in. which will look alot like yours. i even considered scrogging it

I use 400gph pumps for both setups with ezclone sprayers for the misters u dont want a fence post like i have u want a nice large area for the roots to be misted 1 day i might try it out but for now this is working great maybe when i get a house. the pumps are on for 1 m 4m off sum ppl do 5 but 1-4 is good this gives the roots oxygen and makes the roots just grow massive they actually go all the way into the res and when its harvest time its a pain to get them out its so darn stuffd.
