Hello IC Mag forum members:

I recently got done with a stint as a caretaker in Northern California. Two rooms with 16x600w and coco SOG tables. Now working indendently and the plant numbers have come way down. I'm hanging the lights vertically and growing in verm./perlite Hempy buckets. I attempted to make the trip (this was a few months back) with a couple of headband cuttings, but they didn't make it. That was a learning experience.

Many thanks to a few people whose posts I've learned from: dongle69, krunchbubble, soquick, jrosek, stoney419, delta9nxs, dalai hempy, pico, northern farmer, spurr, knna, teresa and probably a few others.

Thank you kerlito, Madrus and tryn2getby...

I bought a bag of perlite yesterday and it's supposed to be the super coarse grade, but it's half dust. It must have gotten crushed at the warehouse. So now I have to wait until Monday to back to work. This is a bummer.

I know all too well about the crushed perlite...be careful not to breath any of that stuff in.... not good for you at all...take care

I use a mask. So you've purchased a bag that was supposed to be the big coarse pieces and it was turned out to be ruined? I'm thinking this bag was either crushed somehow at the warehouse or it's the wrong perlite. Maybe this is supposed to be for an industrial use and they put it in the wrong bag.

I ve had many bags 1/3 full of crushed/dust perlite & while i still put the whole bag in the mix...was not happy...perlite in general is some nasty stuff,imo....but it does have it's major benifits...
