i've been reading in this forum for 8 months now trying to read n learn, but not a newbie. i used to grow soil in the past 4 years and made great results but when i went to hydro (dwc for less work and garbage), somehow i can never get 1lb a light (thats my minimum target), they look very healthy and alot bigger than my soil grow but when in flower it doesnt produce. i have a cycle running so i only get 11 ounces a harvest every month with 9 plants. i veg for 2 weeks from clone then in flower i used gh 3 parts series, liquid karma, carboload, and crazy bloom. my setup is dwc, 1k light 9 buckets with a commercial air pump running them all ph is 5.8 and temp at 69f. roots are healthy no signs of rot, no mites or pests since i switched to hydro but i still spray for mites once in a blue moon. is it the nutes or i am doing something wrong?

what strain r u runnin? is it the same as the one u ran in soil? sounds like u got everything in check, ur ph and temps r good . if i were u id veg longer. theres no reason u shouldnt get 2oz easy off each plant. what type of buckets u usin? if they all in one tub or seperate buckets? dwc or rdwc? u may need a bigger tub. whats ur enviroment like air temps and humidity? if its not a pathetic yieldin strain sumthin is def wrong in there. my 1rst guess would be humidity high air temps or no air circulation.
i'm running hindu kush in stand alone dwc right now. i was growing northern lights before in promix. humidity in flower is 45% and temp at 75 i have 1 floor fans blowing at the plants and 2 8 inch inline fans 1 for air in other for air out.
do the plants ever look deficient of anything during flower? Make you feel like something could be wrong at some point?

yeah man sum pics of ur setup would b helpful coz u should b gettin anywhere from 20oz plus with that much light. agree with wat grow nerd is askin coz if ur bulb is old it wont work efficiently coz of lowered amount of lumens. HPS bulbs should b replaced roughly every 1-2 years or 24,000 hrs.
Maybe im as baked as S.S but i don't understand how you harvest 9 plants every month?

You veg your clones for 2 weeks
You then you put them on 12/12.
so you now have 9 plants in dwc on day 1 of 12/12.
This is where im confused, do you only flower them for 1 month and then you harvest them??
Then replace them with clones that you have veg for 2 weeks in your other room,and start the whole process again.
Imo. If you have 9 plants that have just gone on to 12/12 they wont be ready for at least 45days minimum which is longer than a month that you state.
When i grew HK i took it to 55 days which is nearly double your monthly harvest times.
If ive understood your post correctly may i suggest you flower them for at least 50 days but closer to 60 for added yield.
Just a quick brake down.
11.oz div by 9 plants is 34.22 grams a plant, or 0.33 grams per watt. Now to me those numbers look like juvenile plants.
Or very tired light bulbs.
Or there on 12/12 somewhere else before there final 28-31 days under 1000w

Its quite unclear if there's a second room or not, i'd think 11oz in 4 weeks of 12/12 with 2 weeks veg would be good..

you guys missed this... i think we could assume he has one flower room but fills one light with fresh cuts to flower, then a month later he fills light two with fresh cuts. then within the month, light one gets harvested and filled with new cuts. then the next month he light two gets harvested and filled with fresh cuts. and then light one gets harvessted and then light two...haha need me to go on. lol nah but thats what i get from it

no i have 3 light in total and its all 1k, sorry for the late reply i was on vacation got too drunk and lost my phone... (i was gonna take pics with it). but o well i came back and only have 5 plants remaining. so the next 1 maybe i'd do a journal and see what mistakes i do and u guys can help me on. thank in adavance. ttyl
