I remember seeing one, they do (or did) exist, I can't remember the name.

I never thought it to be a good product in terms of performance, just caught my eye and thought "neat toy".

Growzilla ....I have one and have used it for years...they're pieces of shit....you'd be better of doing to Smaller relfectors side by side...trust me bro...I've experimented like crazy with it....so many fucken hot spots its a joke...the Growzilla is a dual bulb hood and I dont see myself using it again anytime soon.

Dual socket hoods?

I use the Growzilla and love it.....IMO it performs great. I much prefer it to two hoods side by side. To each his own.

Performs great compared to what?

Seems like to me the Growzilla would create an excessive hot spot and not be able to utilize the lighting as efficiently as a single-bulb hood. Not to mention turbulence and cooling efficiency considerations. My :2cents:

I used a growzilla for a while and loved it. I had 2 600 hps in each with a light mover. Then i took out 1 600 hps, and replaced it with a 400w CMH for a total of 1k. I like to have options, i noticed that the mixed spectrum of hps and cmh out performed the 1200 watt hps. If u were to put 2 1ks in it you would be wasting ur money, and would make more sense to run two fixtures. I even veged with the same light I would leave the hps off for about a week, then full speed ahead. Hope this helps.

It performs great compared to my 6 other single bulb hoods. I have done enough runs with it and without it to see there is a significant difference in the quality it produces in my garden.
I don't have any issues of hot spots or turbulence and cooling efficiency. My Growzilla has served me well without any of the issues mentioned.
