Sounds very good to me.The more you work with it the more you will most likely end up tweaking it one way or the other.

Good luck to you .

Search for the Organics for Beginners thread. It'll help with the basic whats and how much-es, and more importantly, why.

Good luck! BC

Soil mix sounds good if you are going to use alot of liquid fertilizers. If you want to save even more money, buy granular organic fertilizers and mix them in, then supplement with liquid additives and nutrients.
You can get pre-mixed Fertilizers like Happy Frog from Foxfarm, or Rainbow Mix from Hydro-Organics. Look into Alfalfa meal, Fish Bone Meal, Bat Guano, Limestone, Montmorillonite, Azomite, Palm Bunch Ash, Kelp Meal, Rock Phosphate

It takes alot of experimenting, but produces the best flavors on the planet. Have Fun!

sounds good.,maybe a little dolomite lime powder for a nice ph buffer......the AZOMITE......would cover ALL your needed trace minerals.......sould be enuff.from the initial soil to cover the VEG time....then only needing a g00d bll00m fert for flowering........

Not far off what i use .... you definetly got a handle on it & as others have shared "time will tell" ...but... i think you have made some good choices & should save alot of money over the FoxFarm pre-made stuff....best of luck

I didn't break down the ratio of your mix, but a simple base to start with with is 50% peat, 30% perlite, 20% EWC, 1 tbls or Oz dolomite lime per gallon of mix....
